If someone brings up the fact that their are posts involving Luck and he isnt part of the team, i get that......but im not trying to get over lucks departure from the team. This is making the Manning split way harder....

Am i the only one that thinks posts involving Peyton need to go into the nfl section, seriously this isnt helping anything coming to the forum and seeing every post in the "Colts" section involving peyton......isnt it time to move on? i know this isnt easy, its really hard to deal with but its time. Not saying im not interested in whats going on with him, but i can check the nfl section or nfl.com for my peyton updates, i go to the Colts secton of this forum to discuss COLTS football and Peyton is no longer a current part of the team. We are all going through this together, but its not helping coming here everyday and reading "Peytons arm better than ever" or "Peyton, Addai,Clark may go to same team". Am i going crazy or does someone else understand what im going through here?

last time i looked this was a Colts forum, not a "what team does peyton go to forum" its time to move on.

So i guess my question should be when you jump on another bandwagon due to Peyton being there what happens when he retires? another bandwagon maybe......please at that point stay away from the horeshoe.

The sad truth: We havent built piece by piece like these other successfull teams, we have let good players walk and not replaced them, think about it who has replaced Tarik? who has replaced Edge? we let things get out of control and this was the result, its not easy to admit but true. Holes just kept showing themselves til they could no longer be covered by Peytons superior play, which is why we havent had much success post season, yea we have made the playoffs but been eliminated just as quick, so what happens last season it all comes to the surface 18 doesnt play, ending in a 2-14 season. So now we see these overwhelming holes in our team and it is time to fill them. Yea this wasnt the ending that we, Peyton, or Irsay wanted but i do believe it had to happen.....would you really wish it upon Peyton to come back to this team run for his life behind this thing we call an o-line and struggle to even make the playoffs just to see us get eliminated again.

Thanks! i think people forget we lost that great Colt one time......that was pretty tough as well.

We have had our fair share of success, ive loved every minute of it. I will never forget any player not with us now, there will be future success and i will be right there to enjoy every moment again

He deserves a chance at another championship before his career is over. I didnt like seeing him go ill never support the decision to let him walk but i believe it was in his best interest to play on a team that could get him to another trophy.

Are you a prophet im sure not, im just having faith im not going to bail on my team.....so i will have faith, and look forward to the future of colts football. After last season yes this had to happen, 18 doesnt play and we go 2-14 was that not miserable for you to watch....it sure was for me.

Guys we are really getting out of control with this "im not a colts fan anymore" seriously this is a business. i dont know Irsay, ive never met him, i wasnt in the room when him and Peyton had their talks, but i really believe that this wasnt easy for Irsay either, he saw the decline in the team, he saw a team without 18 go 2-14, so ask yourself this what would you have done? if we went 2-14 without Manning i believe i would have hit the d-day button as well. not easy but true.

I agree, but that is hard to acheive when you depend on your QB to run the whole team.....why do we only have one championship? Because peyton never had protection, our D suffered, we never had a running game. if we had all those pieces in place who knows what could have been..

Seriously have some faith, this will happen to every team......IT HAS TO HAPPEN! its the evolution of the game dont give up on the Colts because they have to rebuild, your a Colt for life or you were never one to begin with.....I will no longer spend money on the colts. My wife is a die hard patriots fan which i can not stand. My son grew up knowing Manning like a super hero, You didnt see the pats release there franchise QB after a injury that basicly made there whole city a city of doing things the right way.
Instead we have an owner who completely tossed manning aside after he got what he wanted, new stadium on tax dollars , superbowl ring, hosted superbowl. Irsay is a joke, he could of given Manning a contract laced with Bonus incentives to keep him and drafted Griffen who stated he would of enjoyed sitting behind Manning like Rogers an learned till it was his time.
Me and my family have put all the colts jersey's in a box donated them to goodwill, and will not watch anymore colts games on tv or radio, Or head to the yearly colts games, i dont make a lot of money so we only make 1 game a year and i think i would rather spend that money driving up to chicago and watching the bears that one time a year instead of here In the city Manning Built.
Simply when 1 single person does as much as he did for the city / state / team / he needed to be allowed to finish his carrer here no matter how good or bad his Health is / was as long as he is cleared to play.

Its better for us and Peyton, i think Irsay did see what you are talking about, we did depend to much on one player to succeed, i believe that is what sparked this whole situation, Irsay now has to pick up the pieces and rebuild this "team" to make a true team......with everyone contributing to our overall success. Bring us back to the glory land Irsay!

Its time we all get excited for the new era, Irsay said the sun is trying to rise.....well it has risen and our new team is being assembled as we speak! i cannot wait to be in Indy next year personally cheering on our boys in blue and welcoming them to our home, I will be proud that they are wearing our beloved Horseshoe! I hope to see you all there, maybe we can have a drink or two.....cheers! GO COLTS TRUE BLUE FOR LIFE.

yeah the broncos are known for caving in and giving people what they want, i dont see why they would bring all these guys in just to get Manning when they could go younger.......but who am i, i mean this is a crazy world we live in i did see Tebow beat the Steelers...

This whole thing is so shocking to the people who dont dedicate their loyalty to one team, this kinda thing happens......Be excited for the future, at least in this situation we have an excellent prospect joining the Colts its time to rally around our team, this is when they need it most! So wear the Horseshoe proud it represents much more than any one person......GO COLTS!!!!!
