  1. Could have listened to what you said until this. You dont know enough about RG3 to make an informed statement. Period.

You don't know enough about him to even say its justifiable to take him over Luck. Btw, my facts are things I've read about RG3 over the weeks and it seems I'm the only one paying attention to what a monumental bust RG3 is going to be.

ANd yes, RG3's weird sock fetish is definitely a Red Flag.

  2. I'm rooting for the Tebow boys to force Rex Ryan's hand when Sanchez inevitably sucks again, and Tebow to get the start.....just to see him throw for 95 yards and complete 40% of his passes, and everyone to exclaim about how he's such an AMAZING Quarterback...lol.

Either way I could care less about the jets. sanchez sucks, tebow statistically sucks but keeps winning. I just think it would be funny if somehow Tebow beats Manning in a playoff game or something.

  3. Watched both RGlll and Luck both looked really good what I looked for is the mentality Luck seemed more ready for the NFL than RGlll.

RGIII is too worried about whether he should wear Ninja Mutant Turtles socks or Hello Kitty socks. That is not the mentality you want in a QB.

  4. I'm excited, let's hope jimmy boy doesn't get this wild notion in his head to draft RG3 for the shock value and attention he'll get for it

Hopefully Jim is smarter than that. The only attention it will get is a burning Lucas Oil Stadium from all the pitchforks and torches storming the castle, metaphorically speaking.

  5. I believe that if we traded Dwight Freeney and packaged him with our 2nd or 3rd rounder, we could easily move up high enough into the 1st round to get another top player at his position. If we did, who would you want?

Me personally; I would want Morris Claiborne out of LSU. With his recent wrist surgery he might slide a little bit, and we definitely need a CB. He probably still go Top 10 regardless of the injury and might be out of reach. If that's the case, gotta grab Dontari Poe out of Memphis or Coby Fleener to give Luck his safety blanket.

    Thoughts?

We should trade Freeney, he is undersized and we could find a younger talent that fits our new Defensive scheme; and when the new person hits their stride the same time Luck does... fireworks and superbowls baby.

  6. The majority of the Colts fan base DOES NOT WANT RG3!!! If they do foolishly select RG3, there will be riots and a mass exodus from Colts Football. We want Peyton Manning 2.0, Aaron Rodgers 2.0... we don't want Vince Young 2.0, Michael Vick 2.0.

  7. I think we can all agree that this was going to happen sooner or later (Peyton departing)... its just that it happened sooner than most expected and was anti-climatic. But, we can all agree on one thing... It was CHRIS POLIAN'S FAULT!!!! That dummy is the result of so many missed drafts that cause such a monumental collapse in the past 3 years. You can't blame Peyton for wanting to go elsewhere.

  8. Jim has already said this publicly. It's old news, you just have to accept it.

Now, if the Colts take RG3 over Luck, let me be the first to carry the torch and storm the castle. I honestly think if they pull this, the Colts will be moving to L.A. with the outrage.

  9. Such a misinformed post. First off RG3 is not a one year wonder. He was a freshman all american for the big 12. Tore his ACL the following year. Rehabbed that while learning to play traditional QB. Came back had an excellent year at QB just one year removed from the ACL tear. Then came back this year and won the heisman. Also i have seen him go through progressions, not to the extent that Luck has but RG3 is not like a VY. Plus what are coaches for? RG3 is the hardest worker in the draft and there is no reason to believe that he will struggle with adapting to a pro style offense.Sure he runs when he can, but when you run a 4.4 and have guys running 5.0, makes sense doesnt it? He is equally dangerous in the pass game as well as run, which for some reason is a bad thing? And finally how do we know whats ideal for the Colts? They dont have an identity anymore, this is not Mannings offense.

I like Luck and will cheer for him since he will be the Colts next QB. But all this doubting on RG3 will make a lot of people on this forum, as well as the media look like fools. RG3 is a absolute stud and will excel in this league. Sadly, perhaps more so then Luck.

Here are some additional concerns about him. Watching that game vs. Oklahoma, RG3 always seems to want to go for the long bomb, this is not going to happen in the nfl. RG3 put up fluke numbers this year as most college level defenses thought he was going to run-first, so of course his throws made it through easier, going to be much tougher in the nfl. When finally faced with 3rd down pressure, RG3's college stats are the worst.. he has a 15.1 QB Rating, While Luck's is 150. So while RG3 adjusts to the pro-style game, he is going to be under constant pressure EVERY DOWN. So, if he does try to run first he is going to get creamed. He has no bulk, is a small frame, so add on more injuries. I foresee a 3 year max nfl run unless he can bulk up and improve at the same time. Otherwise, count me in (betting the farm) that he is going to have a difficult time. And a difficult time living up to the monster trade the redskins gave up for him. Bust of the century with that loot.

Add on top of it, maturity questions.. It has to be a concern that he concentrates about wearing weird socks and loves the attention of it... this is a redflag for ego alone.

  10. Cam and Luck are the future of the league. They are the hybrid QBs, big, smart, strong, fast......while RG3 has some of that but he's just too small to absorb the hits.

HA! So was Vince Young. He was going to "revolutionize" the QB position. Tim Tebow? Michael Vick? Donavan McNabb? Randell Cunningham? These running guys are not the future of the QB position. They are going to get hurt because defenses are built like tanks now. RG3 will especially get hurt, he has a small frame and watching some of his running highlights from last year, he like to jump over defenders, he is going to get soooo crushed doing those moves. Another thing, before you go and say RG3 is not a run-first QB, he will be because he hasn't run a pro-style offense, and will look to run first because he's going to struggle to adapt. If RG3 doesn't end up as a bust from the draft, I think he is going to literally bust unless he bulks up.

  11. I wanted people to look at him verse a pro-style defense. I made this post to show everyone that Andrew Luck has alot of work to do to become a great quarterback in the NFL. I'm not bashing him by any means. College football was a lot harder years ago when guys like Manning, Freeney and the other vets were playing.

Then why aren't you digging up all of RG3's 3rd down failures from the college game. That is RG3's real story. And besides Luck RAN a PRO-STYLE offense. RG3 has EVEN MORE WORK to do because he doesn't even know what a PRO-STYLE OFFENSE even is!!!

  12. Also who knows, we may not draft Andrew Luck.

Yeah, We are going to miss the draft pick of the decade for a hyped 1-year-wonder who only had good college statistics because he fooled defenses into thinking HE was running 1st and 2nd down. Then when it ever came 3rd down for him had a QB Rating of 15.1 when facing real defensive pressure. Every down in the NFL is going to be like a college level 3rd down and RG3 is going to be proven the bust of the decade thanks to the redskins overpaying for him.

  13. If the Redskins offered the #2 overall pick in the upcoming draft plus X in exchange for the overall #1 pick in the draft, what should the Colts demand as X?

Dumbest thing I've read all day? Why would the Redskins want #1? They are already getting RG3 with the #2 pick. Besides, they don't have any draft picks to trade anymore, St. Louis already ripped them off. lol

  14. I know I know, the scouts rave about Andrew (and I would rather they draft him too). Any chance the Colts pull another curve ball on us and go RG3 in light of his recent hype?

NO!!!!!!!!! Next question now. RG3 = Leaf in hype/bust material. There is no denying it... He is a 1 year fluke, will want to run-first in NFL pressure because he couldn't even handle college 3rd down pressure and ended up having a 15.1QB Rating!!! He is a complete joke and utter waste of time to even consider. Redskins are fools and will be exposed as such in the next couple of years. Let them have the bad science experiment... We all already know the results. Fail = Michael Vick, Vince young, Randall Cunningham, Donovan McNabb

  15. RG3 is a guaranteed BUST! And Luck will have the better pro career. Anyone who thinks different is a fool and naive to believe RG3 is some gamechanger, when this so-called dual threat gamechanger HAS NEVER WON A SUPERBOWL or even panned out to have a successful hall of fame career. Vince Young 2 is all he is, without the mental case issues... well he does love weird teenage themed socks, so does that still count?
