I hope Pagano learns to not get schooled by Bill Belichick again next season in the playoffs. I'm tired of it.
I feel fairly certain that Belichick could beat Pagano given any QB in the league under center. He's that much better of a coach. Not to sound like Brad Wells but it's true

We haven't really spent big on FA. We haven't landed marquee guys in a good while.
I don't want anything crazy. Give me Mccourty and Wisniewski the center from Oakland to anchor our line and protect Luck better and make the calls for the line and I'll be happy.

Good discussion here, I am starting to wonder if Pagano can win a Super Bowl myself. To me, it seems as though there are some Sundays he shows up and is completely outcoached from the opening whistle. It happens entirely too often.

1) Andrew Luck will most likely play in; and win ONE Super Bowl.
2) We will not be the type of franchise that wins four during the Luck/Pagano regime like the Patriots have.
I feel like Luck will get his one - like Peyton did. But the thoughts and illusions of this regime winning multiple you can just tell isn't going to happen where we win year after year after year. It's really going to be about the same as the Polian/Manning regime.
We have a year where we peak and win it all; possibly we get to another. But the thought of this coaching staff and GM building a team that wins 2, 3, or 4 is probably not going to happen.
Am I off basis for thinking this way? Anyone else feel this way?
BTW there's nothing wrong with just winning one. I am saying I am at least confident enough in Luck, Pagano that I think they'll win one, which is saying a lot for a regime.

We have the best uniforms in football. The packers don't change their uniforms. The Yankees don't change theirs. We need to leave ours alone and worry about the product on the field, players and X's and O's. Leave the uniforms completely alone, forever.

I hope they're career colts. This is a strength of our team. It's funny because in college I had these two guys as the top two rated TE's in the draft and when we landed them both I was just ecstatic. It will be these two along with Luck that people look at years later and say "thats why the Colts 2012 draft class was HOF caliber"

You draft a guy - you have Herron, Ballard, and the draftee battle it out for the starting job and give some carries to the #2 on the depth chart. I wouldn't spend the money on Bradshaw he is very banged up and I think Richardson's fate is sealed

Luck better at this stage, Luck will be better over the long run I think; different types of players but Peyton has the ring. Both HOF caliber in their own right

Really feel like our schedule is light - I know everyone improves, I know everyone will be different; but our toughest opponents are at home and I think we are gonna go all in to get to a SB in 2015, they know a lot of the guys are in their prime and Luck at age 26 will be ready to take the next step.
I absolutely expect a 12-4 or 13-3 just based on our opponents and I'm by no means a homer I am a bit of a pessimist.

With all the talent we have at receiever, I wonder why we sprung for Duron Carter. He wasn't even that good of a receiver in college.

When I saw he was first released my first thought was that he can definitely help us next year and the year after. Nothing wrong with a two year deal if he wants reasonable money; and I don't imagine he could command more than that. He's not an every down, every week back; but he could be great on third down, great receiving the ball from Luck, and if asked to step in one week and take 15-20 carries he can still be effective. Won't command the dollars that Bradshaw will.
