You have no idea either way, as do I. The difference is you don't think he can start based on nothing and the facts show Brissett is clearly struggling, Hoyer is who he is, and we are eliminated from the playoffs. I, along with other people, just want to give him a chance in two meaningless games. Ballard and Reich also have no idea because he hasn't played for us in a real game. No point in wasting a QB that could be good.

If you don't hate Kelly, then you merely don't want him to start so you can agree with Reich and Ballard, and that's even more petty and pathetic.

Get him Jared. If Ballard told him to jump into the septic system, he would and ask for an autograph. Kelly should be given a chance, what do you have to loose? Last time he played, he did good but everyone said he was playing against scubs. I think these people love brissett and don't want to admit that he sucks and could not start in any league.

That's impressive #s for a college qb throwing in his pro day against the  air.  In an NFL game it should b an impossible task.

Breese had too many targets out there floating around. He had one of those nites where he was in a groove and could not miss. Mix that with your offense being next to nothing, defense is tired and probably discouraged. I tried to follow the game on the team blog. All I ever read was Brissett incomplete, Breese 20 yards here and 20 yards there. I sure hope Reich isn't satisfied with his present personel.

  3. Well folks, I was just trying to make light of a pretty sorry situation. It seems as if most of you have stockholm syndrom. You somehow have excepted the medioctity of your situation and will go into next year hoping Brissett will somehow play better. It ain't gonna happen. Your playa ain't no good. If they draft Love, another playa, it will be the same story. Might as well sighn Hoyer to a long term deal. He not a playa, but he can read a book.

Would anyone be surprised if Inman got hurt before the season is over?

    Hope this signing helps out

Brissett will overthrow him on a comeback route and he will get familiar with the concussion protocol system, season over.

No one wants to win more than Frank Reich and Chris Ballard.    If he was better than Brissett he would be at least active for games

who says they are any good at knowing one way or the other? I havent seen a lot of evidence of any proof one way or the other.

  6. what the organization needs to do is stop making training camp family friendly and bust theses guys *ses and toughen them up. If you cant handle the work, you dont make the 53. no rest days. you can't go, you get cut. In the end, you either have one tough team that knows what is expected of them or no team with no false expectations.

I can pretty much agree with this. I’d even add into the mixture of poor performances on the play calling schemes. We aren’t scheming people open like so many other teams do against us. That’s disheartening really.

you cant scheme with a one page playbook.

It’s been one of those seasons where everything has gone wrong. You just have to laugh and throw your hands up.

this happens every year. choir boys with soft bones. we are past the laughing and throwing up hands. Break out the pitchforks and torches and run them out of town!:hissy:

Who's to say Kelly wins the way this team is playing.

Good point. If he goes out and hits all his targets in the face, even if they drop all of them, shows good judgement and gets into recievers face for dropping the ball, then sign him up.

  10. Ballard is a good personnel man. I think he has the pulse of the locker room and is getting players that fit in to that mold. I really like Reich as a couch and motivator. Luck retiring was a massive blow. Reich and Ballard may have not taken the jobs if Luck was not in the building.

With the injuries to some key positions, especially the ones that effect the QB position, have been hard to overcome. The QB position right now is mediocre to begin with. The expectations for this year was sky high until midway through preseason. Then everyone tried to minimize Lucks effect on the team and expected JB to be the MAN. Ballard and Reich are playing the cards that they were delt. They need to start looking for the next QB today! Don't wait to see if the present guy will improve. Give Kelly the ball and let him succeed or fail, doing nothing will cost them their jobs eventually. And I don't want to see that.

As far as talent is concerned, on offense, we have a good O-line, led by Q. Nelson, AC, Kelly and B. Smith. Doyle at TE is good, and that's about it really on offense.

T.Y. has had a below average year for a starting WR. I think his star is fading (back-to-back years of missing games due to injury). Our RB corps. with Mack is good when he's healthy, which is the problem.

On defense, we have D. Leonard. Done with that side of the ball.

We are far from being a talented team.

Here's a talented team: - Manning, E. James, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, Marcus Pollard, Ryan Diem, Tarik Glenn, Jeff Saturday, Jake Scott, R. Lilja.

Defense: Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, Gary Brackett, Antoine Bethea, Bob Sanders.

And for except two years, they were one and done.

When your defense gives up 38 pts your probably not winning. He had us in scoring position again when Hines fumbled. But again let’s blame Jacoby lol.

you and Jacoby should probably get a room.

  13. I'm just afraid JB will benefit from the problems with this team and will be given another year to live down to his evaluation coming into the league. JB is only effective with defense not letting anyone score and the running game getting 200 yards a game. this will not happen often.

QB is paramount to this team as it stands. JB has to be shown the door. Shame on the Colts for giving him any money.

The Colts put too much pressure on first down.  If the first down play doesn’t work second is going to be run which gets stuffed because teams have figured that out and then the third down screen which teams have now figured out.  While first down is important that’s way too much pressure on first because if the Colts get nothing out of it you know it’s going to be a three and out.

Yeah that didn’t slip by me.  That was dumb.  You risked everything to end up kicking a field goal anyways.

everything you have written is spot on. Your right about the coaches. The thing that aggravates me is publicly they come off as if they have the right people on the bus. however, they have a qb that is only capable of running a small part of the playbook. I think that is killing the offense the most. They are predictable. The defense has a chance to be good personnel wise, but the zone defense only works with steady pressure. I like Frank R. Without Luck, he is handcuffed. Defensive coaches need to change.

Kaepernick made it to the Super Bowl already.  I think he's still available.

would you actually sign that looser onto your football team? His Social injustice crap brainstormed by his Muslim girlfriend is more important than any team activities up to this point. I can see it now. Irsay parades first responders and military vets during a game and Kapernick is wearing cops are pigs socks with his uniform. He is olso washed up as a QB anyway.

If he has been dealing with a injury all year that has made his FG kicking bad it’s really the colts fault for letting this go on so long.

The guy is kicking the dirt in front of the ball. That would be like Tiger Woods creating a divot on a putt. Coach Cower on the pregame show actually said Vinny missed a kick against us back when I was coaching and he hasn't been the same since. How many years ago was that?
