  1. Just an FYI, this was part of an article on ESPN about the 5 teams most hurt by free agency this year. Not an optimistic view and don't think we are as bad as they make out Still have 31 days till draft.

    2. Indianapolis Colts

This has been a fire-sale offseason that could lead to a historic rebuilding project for the Colts. A lot of it has to do with cap issues and offensive/defensive schemes that are being phased out. The offensive skill positions have been decimated, and a rookie quarterback will have limited offensive weapons at his disposal, including an offensive line that may have four changes. Defensively, the Colts are changing their scheme (from 4-3 to 3-4) and are looking for more physical players, who right now are not on the roster. At least nine starters from 2011 likely will not be in Indy in 2012. With all of the Colts' free-agent losses (some self-imposed), this is likely the worst roster in the NFL heading into 2012.

  2. No one that I would say I HATE. There are a few teams that I always root against no matter who they play.

Patriots- mostly the Manning/Brady competition that is gone now, though they will face each other this year

Raiders- the bad boys of old

Cowboys- Guess I am the only one on here that doesn't root for "Americas Team"

  3. These proposed players are getting to be funny. We are now a young and rebuilding team. Are we going to struggle as opposed to past 12 years? heck yes. However we need to get our minds set to let go of the past and rebuild to a future . Can't rebuild with a new younger team and also fill in spots with older players not in their prime and with a shorter possible future.. Why do they want to get rid of him ? Maybe same as we let go alot of our former great but aging players. Time to move forward, take our lumps, and build to a new greatness

  4. Neither have a body of work to make a real difference. Here's what Stanton did the last time he played:

"During the 2010 season, Drew Stanton saw action again as Matt Stafford and Shaun Hill went down with injuries. He came in as relief for Shaun Hill against the Giants and went 19 for 34 for 222 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He made his second career start against the Bears in week 13 and went 16 for 24 for 178 yards and one touchdown. He started the next game against the Green Bay Packers and lead the Lions to a victory with a 13 yard TD pass to Will Heller. Drew also got the Lions their first road win in over 3 years, leading them to a 23-20 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers."

Not bad when given the chance.

Well this shows that Stanton had a definite better win record with Detroit that Orlovsky had, by only one, but better. Wouldn't have been upset ifr Orlovsky stayed, but predicted he would be gone along with Painter. With the changes and pickups, don't think Orlovsky would have made the cut after training camp, but we won't know that now.

    MOVING FORWARD AT WARP SPEED.

  6. I still back and support Brown, he had limited exposure with Addai there as "premier" back. Last season was so >>>ed up with coaches trying anything and everything to get some production and a win. I like his speed and agility, with some size and power on the line in front of him , hopefully he shows he is the back we thought we drafted

I like Carter as well if he can manage to hold onto the ball and not fumble it away.. Was a big fan of Mike Hart when he was drafted, but limited size and injuries brought about his downfall

  7. Okay, we gave them our 6th round pick for their 7th round pick, so we now have no picks in 6th and two in the 7th not counting any compensatory pics. Great deal for Stanton, he got a 500,000 dollar signing bonus for being a Jet for one week, getting $635,000 from us for the whole year as backup

  8. Dont know for sure, but obviously Peyton would be up at the top with the injury, missed season, new team, expectations.

Surprised that Tebow/Sanchez didn't rate a little higher

Not sure but would guess Washington beat us out because of population, more people in that whole area than here in Indianapolis??
