The ref looks like Jim Caldwell. 🤣

Too much time to throw

O needs to do better to control the clock.
3 passes aren't cutting it.

Man l hope the D doesn't get winded.

Never field a punt inside the 10. Goodness

Welp, had to go to my bedroom to watch the rest of the game...

The D is going to have to take chances with some early blitzing.
The O is going to have to control the clock and give the defense a breather.
The 12th man has to get loud and relentless. Fans should come out of LOS unable to speak.
Feeling butterflies late in December feels great!!!!

No team this yr has been immune from laying an egg this season and l think KC did that against the Raiders.
That said, with PJ healthy Colts have the advantage at home these next 2 games.
Buck-Buck-Buckawhhhh!
Colts take both!
Or my name isn't Orval Redenbacher....

Hot off the press.
Have fun 😊

The Colts have been playing inconsistently and the games coming up may be very difficult. The Raiders defense is playing well and Houston should have Stroud back this week. I sure hope I am wrong but we have shot ourselves in the the foot too many times and lost chancesÂ
IDK if it's inconsistency.
We play a base zone on defense.
On some opponents it works, on others it doesn't. And when the objective, according to SS, is to keep the play in front of the secondary, this is what we get.
No dramatic adjustments, don't give up the long ball.
This is why some teams get yardage in chunks. It's a very low risk defense.Â
The pass blocking has been weird. Our line seems incapable of forming anything that resembles a pocket. It looks like their point of attack is at the line instead.
Anyway, my 1 cent....

We have a first year head coach, and he has missed quite a few adjustments that could’ve been made. And look at Bradley he never changed anything. We are one of the lowest blitzing team in the league. You would think when things get bad you might change things up, but in all of our losses, it was adjustments made by our opponents to beat us, and we could not react in  kind.
From what l understand, SS supports the soft zone.Â
As opponents get into our red zone the defense can play tighter due less real state behind them. But that's it.
Corners setting up behind the 1st down marker on a 3rd and nine and safety's 7yrds behind them.
I don't think it's an exaggeration.
Oh well....

The Falcons are two spots behind us, and yet they put a beating on our quarterback. 6 sacksÂ
As l observed, our 1st drive which resulted in a TD, ATL was in their base defense.
From there on they began to blitz to apply more pressure on Minshew which worked.
We on the other hand couldn't get pressure on ATLs and didn't make adjustments.
SS said in the post game presser that the objective is to keep plays in front of the secondary. Basically a perpetual soft zone.
So l don't see any help with pressure coming soon.Â
Also, did anyone else see how wide open the middle is in some of our defensive packages? Goodness....

Happy Christmas to all. And remember whether the Colts win or lose, we have each other. 😳
