  1. No question AR is a true competitor. But, what concerns me (as l watched him in college) is will his will to win continue to put his body in jeopardy. This has been evident since high school ball.

Even in his senior yr at Fla, he made it through the season but was hobbled. He could barely jog against FSU.

That said, l wish him a healthy NFL career here. But his history of injuries will have me on edge.

If Verse last to 15 we better take him.  We should get Flowers back, so the CB group isn't too bad.

But I'd rather give AR another playmaker.  Either Bowers or a WR like Thomas from LSU.

However, I fully expect Ballard to trade the pick.

6 yrs since we've had a complete TE. I believe our WRs will be fine with AR.

A stud TE gives him more options. IMO of course.

My prediction - when it comes to the 15th pick in the draft we'll hear:

"The Indianapolis Colts have traded their pick..."

We need a playmaker, on either side of the ball.  Yes, we have many needs and they would be better filled if we had more draft picks.

Everyone wants a WR, and I have no problem with that.  But I think Pierce will excel with AR and Downs is already good.  MPJ is a stud, and a chain mover.

At one point I thought we had too many TE's on the roster, but that dwindled fast.  Woods is a question mark, as is Ogletree.  MAC is adequate at best.   I like both Mallory and Granson, but they basically bring the same thing.  Bowers would look good in Blue and White.

If we go offense, Bowers would be a great pick.

Verse should be within reach if we go defense. Hopefully taking some pressure of the secondary. 🤞

Always pull for teams that haven't been to a super bowl.

Roots for Buccs over Lions.  Lol

I really don't have a dog in the fight.  I'm rooting for the lions.   Those poor fans deserve it

The reason is in parenthesis. Once again, you leap to conclusions for the sake of belittling someone.

But that ok. At least you're not a coworker. 🤣

Loved that season. That put us on the map here in Indianapolis! 1987, 1995, 2006, 2012 all were special for many reasons. 87 - Dickerson = Division Champs, 95 - Harbaugh = AFC Title Game, 2006 - SB Champs = Peyton sealed his legacy, 2012 - Luck took us from 2-14 to 11-5 and Playoffs.

Don't forget we were relevant in '88 and '89 losing to the Saints in a win and In game in '89.

    Then came George... 🤮

  6. After the Colts clinched the division in '87, instead of dunking Meyers with the Gatorade container, players timidly tossed Gatorade from paper cups behind Meyers' back.

Don't know if this qualifies as funny or a face in hand moment....

  7. Since '95, we missed the playoffs 12 times. Not saying these recent yrs  have not been rough, but when l was a young Colts fan (walking 12 miles to school in 20 ft of snow ) we went 10 years without a playoff berth and one berth in 18 yrs. AND a quarter century without a win!

It does seem that other teams have always had better depth at key positions than us. Perhaps a GM problem but

we wouldn't be having this conversation had Luck not dropped the bomb on us. OR had Rivers not retired.

So, in the past 5 yrs, we made the playoffs once and today are considered playoff contenders. Not bad, by my standards anyway.
