Colts have the 15th pick in the draft. (MERGE)

Not necessarily. If Colts are trying to trade up to 9 perhaps they are speaking to the team picking 9 (Chicago) and it leaked out that way ? That would be more than 4 people. 4 for the Colts and many more for Chicago. -

There is no doubt in my mind that Ballard was stringing Rivers along all the while he was negotiating with Philly for the Wentz trade. Had Ballard committed right away, Rivers would have stayed -

In fact Ballard would hold AR back. It's time to tear the bandaid off and move in a new direction. Ballards shelf life as a GM is over. I'm very sorry -

I'm afraid you don't quite understand. If he has weapons that can get open he will just throw to them. If he has WRs that can't get open that will lead to more running which will greatly increase the probability of injury. Once again it is the chicken or the egg argument -

This is a chicken or the egg argument. Maybe AR would be the guy if Ballard gave him weapons like Diggs or Calvin Ridley and Hopkins ? Let's not forget that Hurts did not take off until he had AJ Brown and Davonta Smith. To withhold weapons until AR PROVES he's the guy is a recipe for failure for our young QB -

I think the Texans and the Colts are two teams that are in two different places. The Texans won the division last season and are trying to make a splash in FA and compete with the big boys - KC, Buffalo, Bengals and Ravens. They are no longer content with just winning the division. The Colts on the other hand are just trying to win the division taking a step forward from last season. Maybe this is why Ballard is being conservative. Because coming in 2nd place in the division could be a step up and meet Irsays approval giving Ballard another year Ballard isn't stupid and this could be his goal -

Very true. And what about Calvin Ridley ? Do these Ballard lovers think that was a waste too for the Titans ? I know @richard palloreally wanted Ridley -

Not sure if you saw my other post where the Bills changed OCs mid season. If you could run diggs numbers the 1st half of the season compared to the second half you would see his 1st half numbers were very good. Also he played injured the second half of the season which is very un diva like -

In no way am I saying it could be a slam dunk. It could be a disaster. I was just listing some of the reasons I think it could be successful. Just like those on this board that think Bowers is overrated. I only lean on Bowers body of work in college to say he will be successful. But of course Bowers could be a bust like any draft pick -

A couple of points about Diggs. The Bills changed OCs in the middle of the season and yes Diggs numbers declined but so did the numbers of the entire WR Corp. Also Diggs was injured at the end of last season but played through injury anyways. Will this move help the Texans? I think it will and Diggs will only be 31 next season and he works wonders with young QBs. Let's not forget that generally all number 1 CBs or WRs are divas -

Strange but I've read on this board where some Colts fans think Bowers is overrated
