A poster on the horseshoe huddle tonight had a great saying He said a week of self scouting produced a honest result. Very refreshing.

Lots of obstacles this year though. I don’t mind if Shane decides to get his own guy. But I do think what has happened this year has been a little out of his control. I will be interested to see any changes out of the bye week. Hopefully Brent’s is back and we see changes he is talking about. He mixed up coverages a ton lady two games.

I will say this Bradley was still learning his players as first time DC for Colts. He eventually got it right with Rodger’s. He seemed to get Moore in a good spot this year too.

FWIW I did not see Ryan Kelly in the team picture they did today. Which means he is still suffering from concussion symptoms. Aldo look who is back.

I don’t think he is stubborn. I actually think he is a players coach. Leonard still wasn’t even making impact tackles.

Sources say Leonard did not ask for his release.

Leonard did say today if they thought speed was playing better to make him the starter. So I can see why it might have been strange to do this now instead of after the season. There must of been more going on.

If they are trying to make a playoff push they were going to make him inactive. That’s why it was done now.

When it comes to accountability. Shaq blaming the scheme and coached didn’t help his cause. He would have been better off talking about how hard he is working to try and get back. He basically took no accountability for hid bad play.

Very good in coverage. We will see what speed does with more snaps.

Here is Bradley’s presser from earlier. I think this is so encouraging about the self scout process and using players on different ways. Giants are pretty bad. Maybe?

But the cap will be going up. We have a handful that we should extend after this season. Blackmon Grover Moore Pittman might be missing one or two

I hope this helps the run defense. He had been really bad with stopping the run.

I wonder if this would have happened if colts were not 5-5 trying to make the playoffs. They are trying to win and make the playoffs. Maybe if they were not on the playoff race they wait until the season is over.

The Bradley presser was weird today. He talked about getting Leonard around the ball more. He knew he was going to be inactive or cut.

If colts go on and win playoff games without him I don’t think it will matter if he goes somewhere else and plays well.

I’m the video above he said he asked for another meeting I think he said Monday. He said he didn’t hear what he wanted. Then he was released today. Sounds like just one day.

Seeing this really does hit hard. It’s just so sad. We see a player who is trying to come to the realization that he isn’t the same player. Kind of in denial.

Oh I agree. I don’t think that is what we have here. For instance Steichen stood right up and defended Grover.

wow they really did self scout on the bye week.

He actually mixed up coverages last two games quite a bit. He had a CB suspended his DT suspended and multiple CB injuries. While I won’t complain if Steichen decided to make a change Gus has had a lot of obstacles on his way.
