Tonight's game does help put last week's win by the Colts into perspective--we barely scraped by a fairly ordinary team

we need to draft a starting QB next season

I would keep him--I really don't understand why the Colts went and signed Hoyer to a multi-year contract
-
It may have been only his first game, but I thought Kedon Slovis was pretty impressive for USC against Stanford yesterday--will be interesting to see how he progresses throughout his College career.

Oh for goodness sake. Andrew Luck retired because he was worn down by the horrible injuries (thanks for protecting the franchise QB, Grigson), and now people are condemning him for having a life outside of football

First USA basketball loses then this.. not a good sports day .. I'm going to bed..
Yes, a great high followed by a terrible low

I really don't understand why the Cards would draft Murray. Rosen wasn't ROTY last season, but they gave up a lot to get him with pick #10 and surely he needs more than 1 season to prove himself.
If I were the Cards, I would either draft Bosa or trade down to get a bucket load of picks

Hope he's still available at pick 34

As an Australian, I'd love to see the Colts take a punt on this guy (as an UDFA probably). Not a big guy, but with great speed and strength, I think he would be worth a trial. Currently working out in the elite international program.

J.J. Arcega-Whiteside fan--not sure he will still be available when we pick

So, everyone is focussed on getting starters via FA and tha e draft, but the way Scooby played for Arizona today, surely he would be worth a look as a backup

Half time show was ordinary, Pats were awful, Rams were worse
-
Punters having a pretty good game

Rams O-Line certainly not looking like the O-Line of the year

By the time a reciever we draft is ready to make a impact TY will be getting ready for retirement. Even guys like AB it took a few years. I don’t think we need a reciever as bad as everyone thinks. Ebron basically plays wide reciever. With Doyle back that gives us a lot of targets. If we resign Inman he will have a entire off season and will probably be better then this year.
Because we all know that TY didn't start making an impact until .....

Everyone wants to trade Jacoby away, yet all teams need a good quality backup. If we trade Jacoby, we need to get a good QB as a backup--as OP said, this QB class is average, so where do you propose to get the replacement?

After today, you would have to say Chiefs and Saints--what a shame both games decided on 2 very ordinary calls--the no call for the Saints, and the roughing passer call for the Patriots

The whole squad can be proud of what was achieved this season. From being predicted to finish last to reaching 2nd week of the playoffs is an amazing achievement.
If it's any consolation, as Andrew Luck fumbled the ball, my first grandchild was born--it's been a huge day for me

I'm personally rather tired of reading about McDaniels--we dodged a bullet, and his name is mud. Let's just be thankful we got a top man as our HC as he lifts the Lombardi high this year

The only negative I saw was allowing Watson to make some big runs on 3rd and 4th down. Other than that, we had the game under control at all times.
-
I think with pick #32 we should be able a get a really good D-line guy, and back that up with another at pick #35
-
J J Watt makes the 1st All-pro and the 2nd All-Pro teams, and great to see an Aussie make the 1st team.

I think we got the best end of the whole episode

I really think that despite the obvious talent Gordon has, his ship has sailed. He has too many off-field issues to deal with, and quite frankly his record shows that he is not winning the battle. I wish him well as a person, but to think he has a future in the NFL is fanciful.
Jags might give us some trouble later.

At least we could leave Westbrook free so that Minshew throws to him all night. Surely it can't be that hard to catch a ball when it falls right into your lap, and the defender is nowhere in sight
