He'll be the Week 1 starter. And, probably all the other weeks if we don't pick a QB (Mayfield).

Take Bo Scarborough late. He’d be our Derek Henry
The Colts don't need the * cancer Scarborough on their team.

Pretty much is a full rebuild.

Should not have let Moncrief walk. We can compare stats...

No,draft Baker Mayfield like I say.

I believe that Ballard's strategy is to do exactly as you and several others have pointed out whether any of "the fans" like it or not. Look for this to happen (with or without Luck).
-
Mike Florio is a useless hack want-to-be sports writer. He sucks big time!
-
It's called a COMPLETE rebuild. Don't be surprised when Luck is vacated.

I hope you are right.
If Nelson is there at 6, I would not move back any further at that point. Like another poster said, moving back in the second then becomes an option. Broncos have then been to Josh Rosen, Josh Allen and Baker Mayfield's Pro Days and Baker Mayfield apparently went up to Gary Kubiak and made sure to have a chat, I heard on Broncos sites. Broncos coaches were also running the Senior Bowl drills including the QB drills for Mayfield.
Elway has had a habit of going for the physical attributes, that big tall guy who could get by with athleticism and not a high level of intellect and ability under pressure. He swung and missed with Osweiler and Lynch along those lines. He also witnessed the contrast with Peyton. Now, I feel he might take a different path and go Mayfield instead of Allen. That is what my gut tells me, if Elway does go the QB route.
Dang, I want Mayfield to be a Colt.

not an over reaction
we had the worst team in the division and we are getting worse
It's obvious we have not made the gains the other teams have in the AFCS thru this FA signing period. Also, Ballard has made the decision to take one step back this season in order to take two steps forward in 2019. Let hope his plan works. So far, I too am not sold on Ballard's small body of work.

Too bad. Maybe he sees little chance of this team competing this season. Or, maybe he knows Luck's real status. Anyway, don't let the door....

We’ve held tickets since 95 and we have released them as of this season.
1. Just have too much going on with my girls to give up an entire day to drive to Indy and then get back home, it’s an entire day from 10am to roughly 8pm.
2. The way they drug out last season and how they’ve made it appear that Luck would be ready by the start of last season, then a few games in and then up until the last 4 games when they came clean. Didn’t like how they handled that.
3. The Pagano era was a big reason why this team is a wreck and Griggson but they kept Pagano in the face of his inept ability to run the team and now we have to rebuild again.
4. The kneeling on the team and across the league. This made it final for me with all the other things. The league just isn’t as fun as it was a few years back either. Maybe it’s losing that makes it feel that way too but the poor officiating and flags for touching any QB named Brady.
Maybe ill watch more games this year but i shut them off after they continued to kneel. I want zero politics in games, none!
Absolutely agree with your take! I too am off the season ticket band wagon for basically the same reasons as you and then some. I now prefer to watch on TV. Thus, the purpose of this thread (which my question/topic has yet to be clarified).

If Ballard hasn't told him he has a plan and wants to resign him, then shame on Ballard. On the other hand, if Ballard has talked with him and he doesn't want to be here, then I say don't let the door hit you in *.

We have Lineman, should we not try to get better ones??
Only if you think we need a QB to be able to throw to our compliment of worthy TEs.

What if we just call Ebron a big wr.....would that make you happy??
No.

And your point? No one other than Doyle has shown us enough to believe we don't need another TE. What's wrong with bringing in another guy? Depth and competition is a beautiful thing in the NFL world. The Colts will likely keep three TE's on the 53 man roster anyway and to have Doyle, Ebron, and Swoope contributing on Sundays.
We have plenty of TEs. No need to pay for more.

You'd take Swoope over Ebron? Ebron and Doyle on the field with TY would be a huge boost for our offense.
I'm saying we let Swoope show us what he can do for the team and put our FA money elsewhere. Swoope has looked good when healthy. I think he'll be more than adequate this year.

Bingo...I really think CB and the big name free agents know AL won't be back. Don't be shocked if we stay put in the draft and take a QB at #3
As I mentioned earlier, we need to drop back, garner a couple of picks, then draft a QB (B.Mayfield).
-
We don't need this guy. We have Swoope and others in the pipeline.

There's always going to be complaining. I just can't believe the amount of 'Ballard isn't doing anything!' level of stuff around here, when free agency just started. If we look back in two weeks and Ballard hasn't added good players, then I get it.
Then, stay tuned...

Now I am curious to know what game it was actually because I don't remember a blackout in the Peyton era.
Could have been the 2003 season according to the IBJ. Anyway, doesn't matter, I'm concerned about the upcoming. Will the back out be lifted?

I hope so. If not we will not be watching many Colts games.
Colts fans have shown they are not willing to watch the team continue to blow games on the field and be completely un competitive at times.
I also noticed that ticket prices were still highly priced everywhere in the stadium besides the balcony level last year even though they couldn't sell any at all. It was pretty awful in my opinion.
I agree and that's my concern. I'm a past season ticket holder (five seasons at both Dome and Can) but the on field product has to be a winner or I'll not waste my money.
Luck is Throwing

If Frank said he's throwing, then he's throwing. We can believe Frank. However, he didn't say how far he's throwing. I'm guessing five yards at most.
