I’m a bit confused why he did the presser too!

No, obviously that’s what I wanted, with no middle ground.

There was nothing professional about it, I guess that is where we disagree.

He stood up there for 12 minutes and made a mockery of the whole situation & did little to make this less of a distraction moving forward.

Hm... that's an interesting look on this.  Other than him sidestepping the question on wanting to stay a Colt, I saw nothing wrong with the interview.  Let's keep in mind that we don't know if there were any PR work being done behind the curtains from the Colts.  If the team as a whole continue to positively progress forward together, then I see nothing wrong with anything in this interview.

But seems we are looking at it two different ways, so I'll respect your stance.

I can’t believe he was able to do that with a straight face.

I’m losing more & more respect for the man. How you gonna stand up there, after using the injury as an excuse to hold out, and talk about how hard you worked to get back & make a mockery of players who actually do?

I’m glad the Colts let him speak.

A bit confused on this one.  Did you want him to come out and relight the dumbster fire that this whole situation has been?  He took the professional route to move this issue forward.  No one wants to deal with that distraction all season

Regarding the Colts I think the Browns will at least call about Taylor but they don’t have their first round pick and I am not sure they will be able to make a deal that makes the Colts happy if the Colts are even willing to listen to offers for Taylor at this point.

I do think the more likely scenario will be the Browns will bring Hunt back.

Hunts already familiar with the offense and will be much cheaper, so I'd put my money on that scenario than them trading for Taylor

Colts have some of the best lime backers in the league. Pretty good DT tandem too. Grover keeps getting better with age. I don’t think he is ever going to slow down. Colts need to get him signed to a e tension.

Ogletree looked really good before he got hit and had to leave the game.

I think that Buckner trade was that It factor that catapulted the defense to where they are today.  We just need to find that it factor for offense whether it's a trade or in free agency and build on it

  5. Back from Indy and after experience my first Colts game in person, I was not disappointed!  Surprisingly there are lots of things to do near the stadium that are all in walking distance.  Yea we lost, but we weren’t supposed to win anyways.  Yes I wanted a win, but seeing how Anthony Richardson played in his first game was a win for me.  Will definitely go back as time and circumstances allow.

The only downside were the Jags fans.  Every fan I ran into were nice and chill, and even gave up a seat at the bar.  They made it very hard to hate on the Jags during my time in Indy lol.

All in all, my takeaways are about the same as a lot of users here:

    • The Oline played decent, but there needs to be improvement for sure.  The pocket collapsed more times than I would like, but it was not a complete disaster like this previous year.

     • Deon Jackson…Just no

     · Zaire Franklin is looking for another raise.  Not sure how we will be able to pay him and Grove and eventually Buckner without doing something with Leonards contract

     · Anthony Richardson showed that he can play in this league.  Based on how all of these expert portrayed Richardson, he should not have looked as good as he did.  Happy for him, but get the man some help please

At the end of the day, are we surprised that the Jaguars won? I for one am not.  Calvin Ridley did exactly what was expected against our secondary.  Other than that, we shot ourselves in the foot.

Nice win against a "playoff team" and not having our best player

Listening to him I think we are going with the OL we have.  Don’t think any veteran FA are coming.  He’s going to let this group play.  Shane actually picked up one of his lineman from the Eagles.  So he’s happy about that I’m sure.  He also seemed excited about Rainmann’s development.  Going with the youth and counting on the new OL coach.  Seemed excited about the DE we picked up from Dallas too.  Talked quite a bit about him.

One above average or even just average Right Guard can change the look of this Oline this year if Bernard can keep up his strong performance

Ballard refutes he wouldn’t pay a running back. Then mentions we only won 4 games.

I mean they kept asking the man the same question.  Sometimes eventually you just have to throw reality back into their faces.  The reporters acted like this is all so simple

They can still keep him on final 53 then IR him if they want, or need to.

Hopefully he just ready to go here in a couple weeks.

Agreed, think he’ll help Richardson with his huge catch radius.  Could be a good year for him
