  1. Well...in the Texans game I shut it off and went to bed, only to have the Colts come back to win. In the Rams game I watched to the bitter end and that didnt turn itself around. What to do now? Sit here and watch this pathetic performance a little more or switch to the game on Fox.

  2. ^@Bogie:  I have no vested interest whatsoever in the 9ers or the Saints. Both are NFC teams so the outcome of the game had no bearing on the Colts. I AM interested in a terrible call being called out, regardless of who its against. Id have said the same thing if it were against Kapernick

BTW, if you havent seen the hit, here is a gif I found of it. Clearly hit below the neck, across the shoulder pads.

  3. No sarcasm here. A serious question.

Why was Brees bleeding from the mouth if he was tackled around the chest or shoulders?

I think because his face went forward into his face mask on the hit and/or when he hit the ground his helmet rode up and caused it. It was not from the defender hitting him in either the head or face.

  4. Im all about protecting the qb to a point, but did anyone else see this? The guy on the 49ers (forget the name) hit Brees HARD, but his arm went right across Brees' shoulder pads which caused Brees' head to jerk forward rather violently. Troy Aikman was saying it was the right call, which I think is bull crap. What did you think?

  5. You'd never heard of DHB before he was signed here? Not a big draft guy huh?

In short, he was projected as a 2nd round pick (maybe 3rd depending on who you asked) based purely off of potential and then raiders owner Al davis famously drafted him #7 overall before Michael Crabtree.

No Im not, I dont watch college football. In any given draft I might have heard of the top 3 or 4 guys, thats it. So  anyone in the 2nd round is certainly not on my radar

  6. Frankly, I dont know how the guy made his college team. Id never heard of DHB before he was signed with the Colts  (I dont follow the rosters of every team believe it or not) But from the first preseason game or whenever I first saw this guy, he was dropping balls left and right. And Ive been griping about him this whole season. How can a WR get to the NFL that drops so many passes???

  7. This team plays to their competition. They play great against great teams and like crap against crappy teams. Unfortunately today they have been flushed down the toilet before they had a chance to get it turned around. Ive never seen such a jekly and hyde team like this. Look like world beaters against San Fran, Seattle, Denver. Look like chumps against Oakland, Miami, San Diego, 3 quarters against Houston, and now today.

  8. As others from Fort Wayne know, we have often gotten cheated out of watching preseason games.

The NFLN blacks out the game because it is being shown on an Indy station. This has also affected the Fort Wayne viewing area even though they are not in the Indy viewing area. :tvhammer:

But, this year WFFT has come to our rescue. :worthy:

So, if any of you from the Fort Wayne area are panicking because the game is blacked out on NFLN, just check out channel 55.

Thank you a million. I just recently moved to Ft Wayne after living out of state for 4 years. Im originally from central Indiana and have been a die hard fan since 84 when the Colts moved here. I was so ready to watch this game today, went to set the dvr, and saw the message on tv that its blacked out on Dish Network. I actually slammed my phone down in anger and was scouring the internet for an answer why. I found this forum and your post saying its on locally here. Disaster averted :)
