I agree Brent. Young citizens have it way too simple with computer technology advancements today. My generation was the last one to train on typewriters in high school too. I graduated from high school in 1991. Kids today have no idea how easy creating & editing newspapers now really is. Let alone typing term papers with full footnotes either.

Going to the library too SW. I am sick libraries are going away. It is too easy to write a paper today. Now writing is not taught because we can type? If I was in today's world....I would still play all sports....no video games...but my paper would have been done in 10 minutes....not a week!

Soon there will not be a newspaper. Out in the country, I cannot get the paper delivered. IndyStar.com is horrible.

In 1 of my college editing classes, we talked at length about diminished typing skills, spelling skills, & critical thinking skills. Just because access to information is fast, it doesn't make it reliable. The art of accumulating research, separating good stuff from garbage, & presenting that information in a useful way is a lost skill & that is very, very sad.
