I honestly don"t have a problem with the Colts drafting Mixon. I wont be hanging out with him, and i am raising my children, not the Colts. Besides, for the price of one ticket you could see Mixon pound the rock and Erin Andrews, priceless.

if it's truly a luxury pick, punter. Because a luxury pick means every other position is fine.

I would not take Hightower. I know he seems to be a can't miss FA,but there is still the [can he thrive outside of New England] question. And with the money he would be paid, I would rather take Poe,and go through the draft, for LBs. Besides, his solo tackle numbers are almost half of what they were in previous years. The totals are inflated by assist numbers.

I would assume, that they know something we don't. Which I don't believe is that much of a stretch. I will give them the benefit of the doubt, until proven wrong.Just because the last GM,was a train wreck, I wont jump all over Ballard, at the first sign of doing something I don't personally agree with.

Very pleasantly suprised.

We just need to "Put this behind us"- "Build the monster"-"Keep chopping wood"-Man sharpens man"-Do your job"-and "Keep our noses to the grindstone" So that we can go to multiple Superbowls like Coach said

I think we should get Charlie Strong from Texas. But for selfish reasons, I would like to get my moneys worth, out of my "CHUCKSTRONG" shirt.

Good. I can feel your anger. I am defenseless. Take your weapon! Strike me down with all your hatred, and your journey towards the dark side will be complete!

The Colts are still in Indy, not LA. So for at least another year we can all be emotionally invested in "Our" Colts.

I believe its time to give Matt Patricia a look. Great resume and coaching tree. After watching what he does, year after year, I can swallow the fact that he a Patriots coach right now.

IMO, we were spoiled by the talent and work ethic, of an outstanding Oline coach. Howard Mudd did more for the Colts winning games, than most people realize. He never had great talent along the whole line, but he made those he had, look great. His training and scheming left little to be desired, and now he is truly missed. I believe our Oline will be adequate at best, until we find another great Oline coach.

I remember Marvin's first couple of years, when he would drop every other pass.I kept thinking,"this guy sucks, get rid of him". Then Reggie's first year,he couldn't catch a cold,or get free to save his life. I wanted him cut,and was mad about the wasted pick. Thank goodness cooler,(and more intelligent) heads prevailed.I have adopted a ,wait and see approach. But I do believe his talent and speed are undeniable.

Agree with Freeney,on offense Eric Dickerson

"Hold on a sec ,Buddy, Are you REALLY Robert Mathis?"

I love the potential of this years draft class. As far as grading,I don't have a clue how they will work out. So for now I will be hopeful, and trust in the coaching staff.

i cannot say yet, whether this is a good or bad pick. But i'm leary of the fact that we passed on Reed,Martin,Cravens,Alexander and Whitehair to get him.

AC-Mewhort-Kelly-Reitz-Good In my opinion,Kelly would be worth it.

Blue, what would be the points differential if we traded with Denver? And theoretically, what pick would that yield us,from Denver?
-
That would be a nice haul. If the scuttlebutt about Denver and the Jets wanting Lynch is correct, that could make for an interesting competition for the 18th pick.
-
I would also add, that i would be satisfied with Ryan Kelly at 18. A solid starter at center for 10 to 15 years would be great, and would 18 be too high of a price for that?
Colts RB For The Future.

I would not mind a high pick on a RB. I loved the days, when the Colts outscored everyone. The defense just had to get a couple of stops, teams had to worry how to stop the.,And the Defense looked good, cause they were not on the field as much. I don't want to see the Colts become, one of those teams, that spend most of the cap on defensive players. That is just my personal preference, but I don't get to make the decisions. And either way i'm still a fan.
