- We live in a political world - meaning that Tressel was forced to resign from OSU to save face for the university, ie political reasons.
- Icicles hanging down - Now if you look up Tressel in the dictionary you get it as another spelling of trestle which means, "a frame typically composed of a horizontal bar or beam rigidly joined or fitted at each end to the top of a transverse...", in other words something in which an icicle can hang.
- Wedding bells ring - Obviously just symbolism for a new beginning.
- Angels sing - The fans cheering
- Clouds cover the ground - Meaning the roof of the dome will be closed for the SB.
I don't know why you guys think Irsay talks in code when it's all perfectly clear.

I'm conflicted. I like that he's tough on player conduct, but i can't stand that he's turning the game into flag football.

Yes, this is the point that many do not address. They would much rather talk about the bust potentials of the top rated QBs, rather than think about the same point about the not so highly rated QBs that they want to draft. That's why I said:
Yep. Well over half the starting qbs in the league were taken in the first round. Eight of the 12 starting qbs in the playoffs were 1st rounders. Much better success rate

The logic here is amazing. A late round pick (which is obviously a late round pick for a reason) has a better chance at being a success than Luck. It makes zero sense.

instead of really looking at a mans qualifications. Of all the potentials so far... Pagano is by far the LEAST qualified of all of them. Yet some "savy" Colt fans think this is exactly what this team needs.

Yup. It seems like the ones I least want are the ones everyone else wants, and are least qualified (Tressel & Pagano)

I don't understand how anyone can watch the 49ers play and think that they dont have a good defense. The niners offense lost the game (and special teams) by not putting up enough points. 20 points in 5 quarters against Eli is pretty good, yards are irrelevant.

The Dolphins offense was brutal. Their defense is good, but their offense was terrible. I think Philbin will be able to improve that. For starters, they need a legit starting QB. This makes me believe even more that Flynn will be headed to Miami
Flynn to Miami makes a whole lot of sense now. Add a WR opposite of Marshall and improve that O-Line, and they could be pretty good
