  1. Wow did you not see that he completes 70+ percent of his passes....I bet I can make up more reasons not to take RGIII, but if you really look at the kid....he's a player for sure...he's a QB...a good QB and will be a good QB in the NFL...everyone wants to give luck a break and he hasn't even played a down in the NFL so let's give Robert a break too....and the bottom line is neither one of them deserves a break cause neither one has proved jack in the NFL...

Again, he's willing to sit on the bench! What great player accepts and is satisfied with doing that? No fire, not driven if he accepts that. So did you actually watch both of them play? I did. If you did then you can't honestly believe Griffen could be better. Successful teams have pocket QBs, POCKET QBS

  2. Dude go look him up he's not a one year wonder....why does everyone keep saying this...

Okay, not quite a one year wonder. A good but not great season and one great season (and a year on the pine due to injury). And I stick by my other point. He's content to sit on the bench and collect a paycheck. He might have better touch on the long ball but not every other throw like Luck. So I guess the plan for the Colts offense if we take RG is to throw deep balls and let him run.............

  3. That is with the startup Texans, the Pre-Stafford Lions and the 2011 Colts.

He was still only 2-3 as a starter this year. I'm not saying he's terrible but I'm not satisfied with him as a back-up

  4. Will someone explain why everyone is okay with Dan Orlovsky as our backup? He has been in the league since 2005 and has 2 wins. If (when) we take Luck we need a more experienced backup with a little more success than Dan. Thats all assuming PM isnt back

  5. Yeah I said it. So much hype and drama for someone that hasn't taken even 1 snap in NFL.

If you follow football you should know that most of the times these hyped up QB's turn out to be just average and even busts.

It is very rare and uncommon for anyone QB to just come in and be a superstar. Luck is no exception, he has the same odds as any other great college QB. Those odds are to turn out average or bust.

If he is such a superstar, then how come he didn't even win college POY? or Heisman or whatever?

There is a QB in this years draft that willbe a star in this league, and he is not Andrew Luck.

So lock it up, I said it here first. Andrew Luck will be a bust.

Did Peyton win the Heisman? How did he turn out? Lets look at a list of heisman winner at the QB position

Andre Ware, Ty Detmer, Gino Torretta, Charlie Ward, Danny Wuerfful, Chris Wienke, Eric Crouch, Carson Palmer, Jason White, Matt Leinart, Troy Smith, Tim Tebow, Sam Bradford, Scam..... I mean Cam Newton. How many busts do you see on that list? How many Super Bowls? The Heisman argument holds no ground

  6. Doesn't matter who your RB is if your offensive line sucks...unless that RB is Barry Sanders of course. But we have some serious problems with our interior lineman and Jeff retiring isn't making anything better. We should use our money to get a Pro Bow OG like Ben Grubbs or Carl Nicks. Besides, there are plenty of serviceable RBs in the draft. Lamar Miller might be there with the 34th pick, guys like Doug Martin or David Wilson will be there in the round, there's Chris Polk and Isaiah Pead... a big NO to signing Peyton Hillis.

For the most part I agree, but it was just a thought anyway. I just like the idea of having a bruising RB. Can you remember the last time the Colts had an RB that could move the pile?

  7. Nobody denies the talent he has, but he's no Peyton Manning.

Of all the 1st round, 1st overall pick QB's over the last 3 decades, none of them ever project to even reach 1 Super Bowl. Why everyone thinks he's going to do what Peyton hasn't been able to do (with the same owner in place, mind you) is beyond me.

We stand a better chance of winning more Super Bowls in the next 3 years with Manning than we would likely even sniff in 15 total years with Luck at the helm. That's mathematical fact.

That said, they can coexist of Irsay decides he wants them to, and Luck decides he's okay sitting on the bench. There will likely be no problems with Manning.

Mathmatical fact? Come on. So basically you're saying Luck has no chance of ever winning us a SB when we've never even seen him play in the pro's?! Give me a break. Can I borrow your crystal ball? Don't get me wrong, I want Peyton back as much as anyone but, the possibility of Manning never being able to perform at the same level he's use to is very real. We must take Luck.

  8. Manning will want to win sb's.. I see him on the jets or in the afc, wanting to stick it to Indy ..

Cardinals have as good of a chance as the Jets. Do you think he wants to deal with the distraction of playing in the same city as his brother? Especially if Eli wins another. He will never hear the end of the comparisons
