Why do people always want to bring up the Heisman when talking about pro players like that automatically will make them great? It means NOTHING in the NFL

Sanchez is a pretty bad qb but, if anyone thinks Tebow will be the answer you're mistaken. He's a terrible qb. He may have all the heart in the world, but lacks qb skills. He should be playing a different position

Completely OT;
Did you mean to misspell your username? Is there some other meaning I don't know about?
Yes I did. I've been using it forever. The first few times I used it the correct spelling was never available so I just started spelling it like that. You are the first person to ever notice the difference.

was once a prize recruit
Yep, he was the no. 1 LB recruit coming out of high school.

- Micah Pellerin CB, Hampton
- Jabin Sambrano, WR, Montana
- Jason Foster, OG, Rhode Island (via his Twitter handle)
- Steven Baker, OT, East Carolina (via his former coach's Twitter page)
- Cameron Chism, CB, Maryland (via KFFL)
- Chris Galippo, OG, USC (via his Twitter handle)
Via Stampede Blue.
Good competition at offensive line and at least we have more bodies at CB.
Galippo is a LB

I don't know much about this kid but if he's fast I understand it. The Colts are trying to find a deep threat for Luck. The WR we took yesterday could be that but I think he got drafted mostly on his return skills.
Again for al the people getting upset with all the offensive picks there is no point to taking a franchise QB if you don't get him weapons. Had we been going defense people would be screaming that we weren't doing anything to help Luck out. This is just more proof that we just have too many holes to fill in one draft or one off-season.
Again the defense was much deeper to start with than the offense going into the draft add to that we took Luck and it's not shocking they are getting peaces to grow up with him. That's what you want players that are going to grow and develop with your rookie QB.
The defense had a pretty good core to start with. I also think the Colts think they can fill it in holes with free agency (Most of the free agency picks up were the o-line and defense which is why they aren't being addressed in the draft). That's not to say it doesn't have holes. However, unlike the offense for the most part the Colts have players on defense who can play at least for this season. No they aren't long term answers but they can get us threw till we have money to spend next off-season. We didn't have that on offense. We needed offense.
It also doesn't mean that the Colts haven't tried to get defensive help. Irsay was on the radio today telling a story of how they had a defensive guy targeted in the third round yesterday and trying to move up to get him and they "lost him" and Irsay said Pagano flipped out over it. There might have been other guys the Colts wanted and just couldn't get him. It happens in the draft.
With that said the Colts have done a very good job restocking the offensive skill spots in this draft for their new QB. Keep in mind going into the draft we had three real WRs on the roster (one of which is aging and the other two have some injury concerns) and one none pass catching tightend who is injury prone. The Colts have been filling needs. Right now, on paper, this has been a very good draft for the Colts.
I'm curious as to who they were targeting in the third

Really dude. What do you have at home that could make you even say that?

I would bet that Peyton makes either Decker or Thomas a Pro Bowler next year. Well, if there is a pro bowl..............

This is my mock draft
1 Andrew Luck-QB
2 Coby Fleener-TE
3 Alameda Ta'amu-DT
4 Nick toon-WR
5 Alfonzo Denard-CB
5 Keith Tandy-CB
6 Junior Hemingway-WR
7 Bret Roy-OLB/DE
7 Jaquies Smith-OLB
7 Chris owusu-WR
I would love to get Hemingway. Seems like a lot of people don't know much about him. Not real fast but has great hands and is a playmaker. Good size and is definitly a red zone threat. Just look what he did with Denard Robinson throwing him the ball, he is a terrible qb

If we're looking at rb's to add next tear, Marcus Lattimore would be top on my list
-
F, F, F, Fleener
-
ronnie lott, anthony munoz, marcus allen, junior seau, fili moala......
Moala? Really?
-
Dan O is nothing anyway. Buh-Bye. Bring in Henne or Shaun Hill
-
Thank God. One less injury prone "player". I love it when buckeyes get disposed of
-
If we are going to draft a center, id rather draft the best one. David Molk

About a snowballs chance in he............

Judging by the votes it looks like there are a lot of badwagon fans. Pathetic. While I am very ticked about Peyton, I will ALWAYS be a Colts fan
-
If he does NOT re-sign.. do you think we will get a compensatory pick next year for the 2014 draft? If so how high or maybe more then one1
You dont get compensatory picks for releasing someone

Looks like Drew Brees has no intention of signing the franchise tag and is "livid" that it was applied to him. Anyone think theres a chance he won't be a Saint this year?
-
Will someone explain why you wouldn't want him to compete for the starting job? Really, I don't get it.
