I don’t understand how anybody could watch his games and come to that conclusion? He looks pretty much the same as Sam Ehlinger did last year less mobile.

We should reopen the thread saying Minshew is better than Richardson just to prove a point.
Lol if you need that you need a drug test, right back to last year without him.

If he has the surgery I heard the repair will be stronger than before and won’t happen again.

Again, some Colts fans make my head spin. They think just because Richardson was drafted high, he is automatically a franchise QB and will do great things. Based on what? His college stats? No. His draft position? See Ryan Leaf, JaMarcus Russell, Akili Smith, etc. I get tired of this "Minshew is the best backup in the NFL". Minshew is a better NFL QB than Richardson. He always has been and always will be. The #1 attributes an NFL needs to have is the ability to read a defense, process what he is seeing, and deliver the ball accurate. It isn't throwing the ball 70 yards. Or running faster than everyone. Sure, it is helpful if he has a big arm ON TOP of what I mentioned. Or is fast on top of what I mentioned. The ONLY thing I have seen from Richardson is he is fast, has a strong arm, is good at throwing quick, redetermined passes, and gets hurt easily so far. When he has had to try to read a defense and put the ball down field, he is usually WAY off target. Very inaccurate, but that is what he has in college.
For me, Richardson\Minshew is very similar to Lance\Purdy. You can talk all you want about Lance having every physical aspect you want in a QB, but at the end of the day, Purdy is so much better at playing NFL QB. Minshew, to me, it much like Purdy. Not the biggest guy, but throws the ball incredibly accurately and processes quickly. I hope things turn out where Minshew is the starter and Richardson is a backup that comes in on short yardage situations.
The hype on Richardson is annoying. The guy will be 3-17 on 3rd and 4th down, but they will praise him. He will do nothing for 3 quarters than lead a few drives and they say "He put the team on his shoulders". WHAT?? He is the reason they did nothing for 3 quarters. He is too streaky. I hope Minshew does well the next 4 weeks and keeps him on the bench. Because, as I said, Minshew has been and always will be a better NFL QB than Richardson. At some point, you will see that is very clear.

You beat TN throwing the ball. AR is terrible at that. 32nd. You guys will eventually wake up to reality once you get punched in the mount a few more times by results on the field.
AR is doing pretty good. Have you watched any of the games? I guess what is really disturbing as a Colts fan, you’ve seem to given up on Anthony Richardson after four games.

Minshew is our best chance to win, but you have to play AR.

I don’t think Reich would of taken young either if it had only been up to him.
Reich would have taken the Richardson 100 percent if up to him! Really doesn’t matter he wouldn’t know how to use him successfully.

It’s $3.00 out side the stadium in touchdown town, just have to drink more before going inside

If you miss the field goal short the Ravens can put a guy back there to return it. Why take that chance if you know your kicker probably doesn’t have the leg from that length? If I recall you were talking about what would have been a NFL record kick and the guy who holds that record just came up short on a shorter kick because the conditions were not exactly optimal for kicking yesterday.
As for the Hail Mary Minshew doesn’t have the arm strength to get it down there. So they tried a screen to see if they could catch the Ravens off guard. The Ravens weren’t fooled so Minshew decided to put it in the dirt and play OT than risk some fluky INT or fumble return for a TD.
I agree Minshew probably doesn’t have the arm strength, but how many times has a missed field goal been returned for a touchdown?

Shane almost gets an A+, but I still went A because the last play of regulation had me scratching my head. I would have brought Gay out then. Not sure what was going with that?
I’m not sure why we didn’t try a field goal or Hail Mary didn’t have anything to lose.

Can’t believe I only got three games right last week. I have a new dog that is pretty much taking up my spare time so can’t catch many games.
