  1. I don't consider 6th round picks to fall into "bust" catagory if they dont pan out. Robison has made some mistakes but he's only 4 games in to the next level of play. I'm willing to be a little more patient.

Exactly! The word is thrown around way too much and usually too early in a player's career.

Btw, my favorite line from "The Big Lebowski": "Hey, careful Man, there's A beverage here!"

  2. Yep. I even posted yesterday (in one of the several other o-line threads), that after watching Monday night's game, and the 2 offensive lines featured in that game, I won't complain about the Colts line for the rest of the season. Seattle and Detroit's lines look BAD, even in comparison to ours.

When I posted that I included a link that shows how each team ranks thus far in having their QB's sacked....I mus have inadvertently deleted while editing? Anyhow, here it is:

    Plus this:

  3. You mean when they went mostly no huddle toward the end of the 2013 season?

And when they switched to the short passing game to Herron to make up for the lack of running game in 2014?

And when they just switched from a 2-gap defense to a 1-gap defense to work better with 3 new defensive lineman this year?

And when they had the corners go mostly zone in the Jets game when our top 4 corners went out?

That's just off the top of my head.     Do, I really have to list more?

Whenever you start dealing in absolutes:   "They always do this..."   "The never do that..."   that's when you get yourself into trouble.     Absolutes get everyone -- me included -- into trouble.    Because they're almost never right.

    Just some food for thought......

Out of "likes" my Friend....here is an old school one

  4. I agree with what Allen said about needing to take advantage of all the targets available on the offense....it really is a no brainer. The trouble I see about his comment is that he seems to be quite outspoken (not just in this case but in the past as well) and that rubs some the wrong way as he has been injured for a large chunk of his career. Let's hope he is injury free moving forward and Andrew has the ability to take advantage of him and all the other weapons at his disposal, so we can see this offensive juggernaut we all have been expecting.

  5. He was exposed in the AFC Championship Game last year and I would still like to know why he started? He needs to learn how to set the edge to be effective in this defense to start but can still contribute as a pass rusher and hopefully  improve at both moving forward?

  6.

    A few things about this:

    1. Most teams would be happy to have 8 starters that could legitimately start for other teams.
    2. Considering guys like Adams, Lowery, DQ, Herremans, AJ, Toler, Cole, Langford and AV have all started for other teams it is a bit ridiculous to act like the Colts were their own chance or they'd be out of the league.
    3. Holmes in just a few games has shown to be in the top half of the league for centers.  By the end of the year he will be in the top 10.

Out of likes so here is a conventional one.... "like".
