As soon as this Sneed thing is wrapped up I am sure the CB market will start to move.
I bet the chiefs hammer out a deal with him to stay.

I'm confused. Did I not watch the same QB that everyone else did? To think that Minshew is better than AR is the most hilariously ridiculous opinion. I would think it was a joke if I didn't know how absolutely insane our fan base can be at times.
You want my opinion? If AR is healthy from here on out, I guarantee he will be in talks for winning MVP multiple times in his career. Come at me! 😉
Honestly I don’t think any of us have seen enough of AR to make any claim. Ballard says he’s a pocket passer…..well let’s see more of that for a whole season.

Texans look like a team that are making moves because they want to get back into the playoffs. I’m jelly

Hunter went to the Texans

Does that include 8 - 10 mil for draftees?
I don’t think so.

Looks like we are down to about 36 mil. After signing all our own guys.

Isn’t that the definition of insanity?

I hope AR pans out but he’s going to have to show Me something this year. I just hope the colts aren’t wasting their time.

Scouring the Internet I haven’t even sniffed a rumor of the colts talking to any free agents. They must be good at keeping it on the down low eh?

Maybe Colts could. Ring back Wentz.🫣
Irsay wouldn’t have it. If I had to pick a FA qb I’d prob bring in Tannehill.

Understandable.
I've said this many times over the years, but I'm sure Ballard is actively trying to get players here. FA's can't be forced to come here. Blame it on money sure, but I blame the environment as well... Indiana just isn't a destination place to live. People come here either because it's relatively cheap or because they have family here... The winters suck, the summers are overly humid...
And on top of those factors, you have a relatively new head coach, an unproven young QB and a team that isn't ready to compete with the big dogs...
A lot of players are going to look at Indiana and say, naw...
Heck teams like Washington are still able to sign players. I’m sure that’s not a very attractive place to go either.

He does most every season. Just not typically not on the first day or two. Wasn’t Ebukum a very good signing?Yeah, he was but we need more than just one good signing imo. Lots of holes to fill.

Sucks watching the colts do nothing but resign their own. Hopefully Ballard can find some gems in the bargain bin!

Until Richardson gets hurt and everyone yells bloody murder at Ballard for not having a quality backup and not learning from other times the starter has been hurt.
Not a great plan to have a rookie backing up a QB who is in his second year and having missed most of last season.
Perhaps but if AR goes down do you really think we will get very far anyway with the free agent qbs that are available?
-
Of the choices available in free agency I’d say…….draft a qb.

Yes they are, it's rare for A players to hit FA.
Do you think McKinney and Wilkins are B players? There’s also a ton of quality safeties out there right now.

Haha it's starting once again (Like every year) there is growing anger of not making any splash signings when Ballard specifically said he won't pay B players, A money
The problem is a lot of these players are not “B” players.

Apparently Ballard and Gus and Shane think differently.
I guess so.

Maybe we’ll sign some second tier free agents later on. Ole bargain bin Ballard….

Because he’s been a solid player for them.
Dude is mediocre and has had problems staying healthy.

We overpaid Lewis IMO
I’m not even sure how the guy hung around the teams so long and the Colts keep paying him.

Who says his job is on the line? Some fan on the message board who is frustrated that Ballard hasn’t done what they wanted? Sorry that doesn’t count. Irsay is the only one who gets a vote on that and he’s done nothing to say Ballard’s job is on the line this season. Further more, Irsay is involved with how the team is run, Ballard has said they have stayed in contact while Irsay has been in the hospital so he’s probably signed off on whatever Ballard’s plan is.
OK I guess you would say I’m assuming his job is on the line since he hasn’t done squat in the last eight years. How much rope does this guy have?

I don’t know why you are surprised. If you’ve paid any attention to Ballard at all this is what he does. This is who he is and no matter how much fans want splash free agent signings that’s not going to change who he is.
You would think with his job on the line he might change his philosophy. Apparently, not as we watch the colts sit on their hands again.

Might be able to pick up Garoppolo for a back up.
