Best move the FO has made in four years.  Now dump/trade Nelson and I am a believer again.

The whole thing with Nelson is weird.  He was headed for the Hall of Fame, but has now sort of become a forgotten man.  He's rarely even mentioned.  People have just been hoping he will return to form, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

Luckily for Nelson, Leonard was so bad it kept the spotlight off of him.  That's now over.

The Colts' roster in recent years has resembled a Whac-A-Mole board, where one glaring deficiency has been able to tank what is otherwise a team with talented trench units

    Pretty much.

Every year at Ballard's postseason press conference:  "I'm so dumb, I shouldn't have neglected this particular unit, position or area."

    It's something different every year.

  3. If Steichen wants to make the playoffs, he has to say, yes, this how we want to play eventually, but this is how we have to play in 2023.  If they want any chance, he has to commit to Taylor, commit to the rum and play like they did in 2021.

  4. Stroud moved just fine. I never understood that conversation at all.  Somehow the conversation here and in Colts social media evolved to a point where a rushing QB is the only type of QB you can draft - not mobile, rushing.  It was a little bizarre.

The main question for me was, given the fact he seemingly had receivers running with 10 yards of separation on every play, could he do the same thing at the pro level?  Well, apparently he can.  There's also this weird thing that happens on occasion where a player just looks better as a pro than he did in college.  Stroud might be one of those players.

You certainly could have had Stroud. Carolina was open for business, and the price would have been less than they paid the Bears.  Had he ended up in Seattle, it might not be as big of a regret. Unfortunately for us, he landed in the division.  Honeslty, the guy might end up being the best QB in the league.
