Need offense to answer
-
Where was defense that drive
-
Not a good start. Hope wentz and offense have a hit hand
-
Defense is going to have to win this. Fisher is now out. OL is a mess.

oL is awful tonight
-
OL not opening holes for JT outside of 1st play. Our DLine not looking good either
-
It was a good game. Colts played well. Made it interesting. Missed FG, going for TD with 4th and 4 was a questionable move by Reich and going for 2 point conversion. I thought Defense played well- tough to defense Allen. Difference was Allen could make key plays for them.

why are we doing the river boat gambler routine. Two of these calls have cost us 4 points.
-
We need a big turnover.

would have gone for FG with 4th and 4. Overall Colts are looking good. Last drive was mainly Allen legs and two great sideline receptions. Colts D is actually playing good. We need to stop them on opening drive in 3rd Qtr and then re-establish the offense. Cannot let them roll with opening drive of 3rd Qtr.

weather not a factor. For Colts to win - the defense has to put pressure on Allen and contain their passing game. A few turnovers our way would be nice. On defense, Rivers needs to play ball control - with solid running game and accurate throws.
-
we just cannot play 60 minutes of football. Two failed drives in red zone, 2 missed FG's and soft defense
-
after opening drive in 2nd half - we did nothing. We had no pass rush. Did not get turnovers. Other than goal line stand our offense fell apart and Big Ben got hot. Terrible 2nd half of playing. not having Smith and AC really compromised our offense. Rivers was rushed on pick and last pass attempt to Pascal. Running game all but disappeared in 2nd half after opening drive.

Looks like Cleveland loses. Not sure what that does for us.

for the life of me I do not understand how we can go into the season with so little depth at tackle position.
-
they called Moorw on PI on a questionable call. That could have been called.

do not like play calling in the 2nd half. Offensive line is getting beat

Other than fumble and untimely block in the back - we have looked great. Need another 30 minutes of solid play. Would be good to take 2nd half kick and march downfield and put points on the board.

Need to use Taylor more. He has the hot hand and is a solid north south runner. We get too cute at times with Hines. This team also needs to clean up the penalties. Walker had too on good punt retrurns. The holding calls and off side calls on last drive also hurt. We have to be more disciplined and not make bonehead plays. We did that against GB and survived. We did this today nearly paid the price. We won but we were lucky to escape with a win. LT situation is an issue without AC. Taylor and TY were heroes on offense. Buckner was huge on defense.
I would have kicked FG instead of going for it on 4th and 1. Would have put us up by 7. We got the sack to get back 2 points but we were very close losing this game by 1 if Texans scored at end of game.

If we pull this out it will be a miracle of miracles. We have not stopped them at all and our defensive miscues and penalties are killers. Might be a good game to let Jacoby get some snaps and not risk having Rivers get killed. Titans are going to tee off on what is now a weak line without Kelly and Castanzo.
-
Not having Buckner really changes things on D-line. Usually defense tightens up in 2nd half but we are down too many guys today. I have refrained on getting on the get rid of Rock band wagon but it seems as though every game he gets caught with holding penalties and pass interference calls. Always seems to be in a crucial situation too.

I was not optimistic about today's game given missing players. Defense is awful. Rock makes bad plays every game. Losing Castonzo hurts. Hopefully we can put today behind us - get healthy and rebound next week.

Hardly a ringing endorsement on JB. JB's performance was the tale of two cities. In first 7 games he looked solid. Last 9 his play ranged from mediocre to terrible. Perhaps some of that is due to injuries with receiving corps but JB seemed to struggle in all aspects of the passing game 2nd half of the season. I suspect he starts the season as our #1 but I see CB drafting a QB to be his replacement at some point next years if JB fails to rebound.

loved both of these guys. Bert was fun to watch. He had a cannon for an arm. Watching him throw balls to Carr and Chester was a thing of beauty. Absolutely enjoyed Luck. The guy made an average team play well. His rookie season was a joy to watch particularly the shoot out with KC in playoffs. Last season Luck really put this team on his back and made them a winner. Statistically, Luck has the better stats but that is a product of the game changing. Also Luck got to play most of his games indoor. Bert had the swirling winds of Old Memorial stadium to contend with. Both were leaders and champions. It is unfortunate that injuries cut down both their careers.
