  1. after opening drive in 2nd half - we did nothing. We had no pass rush. Did not get turnovers. Other than goal line stand our offense fell apart and Big Ben got hot. Terrible 2nd half of playing. not having Smith and AC really compromised our offense. Rivers was rushed on pick and last pass attempt to Pascal. Running game all but disappeared in 2nd half after opening drive.

  2. Need to use Taylor more. He has the hot hand and is a solid north south runner. We get too cute  at times with Hines. This team also  needs to clean up the penalties. Walker had too on good punt retrurns. The holding calls and off side calls on last drive also hurt. We have to be more disciplined and not make bonehead plays. We did that against GB and survived. We did this today nearly paid the price.  We won but we were lucky to escape with a win. LT situation is an issue without AC. Taylor and  TY were heroes on offense. Buckner was huge on defense.

I would have kicked FG instead of going for it on 4th and 1. Would have put us up by 7. We got the sack to get back 2 points but we were very close losing this game by 1 if Texans scored at end of game.

  3. If we pull this out it will be a miracle of miracles. We have not stopped them at all and our defensive miscues and penalties are killers. Might be a good game to let Jacoby get some snaps  and not risk having Rivers get killed. Titans are going to tee off on what is now a weak line without Kelly and Castanzo.

  4. Not having Buckner really changes things on D-line. Usually defense tightens up in 2nd half  but we are down too many guys today. I have refrained on getting on the get rid of Rock band wagon but it seems as though every game he gets caught with holding penalties and pass interference calls. Always seems to be in a crucial  situation too.

  5. Hardly a ringing endorsement on JB.  JB's performance was the tale of two cities. In first 7 games he looked solid. Last 9 his play ranged from mediocre to terrible. Perhaps some of that is due to injuries with receiving corps but JB seemed to struggle in all aspects of the passing game 2nd half of the season. I suspect he starts the season as our #1 but I see CB drafting a QB to be his replacement at some point next years if JB  fails to rebound.

  6. loved both of these guys. Bert was fun to watch. He had a cannon for an arm. Watching him throw balls to Carr and Chester was a thing of beauty.  Absolutely enjoyed Luck. The guy made an average team play well.  His rookie season was a joy to watch particularly the shoot out with KC in playoffs. Last season Luck really put this team on his back and made them a winner. Statistically, Luck has the better stats but that is a product of  the game changing. Also Luck got to play most of his games indoor. Bert had the swirling winds of Old Memorial stadium  to contend with.  Both were leaders and champions. It is unfortunate that injuries cut down both their careers.
