Boom played well. He was major part of offense with some nifty runs and solid catches out of the backfield. He needs to clean up his game by not putting the ball on the turf. Tipton got some valuable experience and can give us extra partner for Herron. Remains to be seen whether we are going to see much from TRich. I am assuming he was too sick to play today.

there is nothing wrong with our QB that a better offensive line and more productive running game could do to help out.

I think the issue is largely due to a make shift offensive line and loss of Bradshaw. In addition, an injured Reggie has taken away a reliable weapon. As a result, Luck is feeling a lot of heat when he drops back to throw, and we have next to a non-existent running game. We have also had injuries to Allen and recently Hilton that take away major weapons in our offense.
Hopefully on Sunday we will have a healthy Hilton and Allen to give us two major receivers. Hopefully, Reggie is fine and can contribute. Fortunately, we are seeing Fleener emerge as a major weapon and as of late, Luck has gained confidence in throwing to Nicks who has been contributiing.
The key on Sunday will be whether our offensive line can open some running lanes for our backs.Herron has looked decent and is a pass catching threat. Richardson has seen less and less time. We may need to use him more in passing game, where he has contributed. Most important, we need to protect the football and avoid turnovers.
Our defense will need to put some pressure on Dalton and hopefully force a few turnovers.
We are kidding ourselves if we think we will be seeing the same Cincy team that we faced in October. They are better than they were in that game while we are a less imposing team than we were on that day.

for me #1 issue is offensive line - particularly lack of quality depth.
I concur that WR outside of Hilton has proven to be an issue. Injury to Reggie hurts. Montcrief provides glimpses of promise but he is still a work in progress. Nicks is getting reps as of late and has provided some help but for most of the season he was non-existent. I think curtting Brazill and Rogers hurt as well since they had some experience and clearly had big play potential.
Lack of consistent pass rush is a concern against elite teams. Injury to Mathis hurt. We have gotten some production out of Walden, Werner and NEwsome but it is not consistent.
Lack of confidence in establishing a running game Colts have not established much of a running game this season. Part of that is due to offensive line. Loss of Bradshaw was also a huge blow as he seemed to have that extra gear that is lacking with Richardson. Herron has flashed some potential. The big issue with the running game is that the Colts never make a commitment to getting a ground game going.
Crippling injuries: Ballard, Bradshaw, Mathis, offensive line have taken their toll. Allen has been unable to stay healthy.
Bright spots:
1. Adams at SS. He has provided solid play. V. Davis is a pro-bowl caliber corner. Fleener has blossomed as a big time TE.

I was in indy a few weeks ago for games against Texans. Donwtown Indy is great. A wonderful city.

I watched Rewind on NFL Network. I thought that was a nonsense call.
-
I am watching Rewind. This game was brutal. Keys to the game:
1. Questionable taunting call on Freeman.
2. Fake Punt that with drop by McDonald
3. Dwayne Allen drops
4. Poor tackling by colt defense
5. Nixon penalties and overall bad game
This was about as poor a Colt game that I have seen in a long time.

We may need help at RB and WR as well. Colts likely willl not bring Bradshaw or Ballard back. Remains to be seen whether we are forced to keep TRich. We need better depth to help Herron our as he is not an every down back. Reggie's drop off is alarming. He is no longer a guy who can stretch a defense. Nicks will likely be gone so that leaves us Montcrief and Hilton. We need more WR help.
I agree on other needs. I would add that we need depth at Tackle as well and i think we need depth at DB and probably DE.

O-line is an issue but we are not patient with running game. We seem to abandon it very early in games. I was at last week's game and the last drive we had for FG was largely a drive with us running the ball quite well. I think that some of Luck's issues will disappear if we would run the ball a bit more. Herron looked good and I think Trent needs to get more touches. He never seems to develop a rhythm in the offensive set. He did make a few nice runs last week and one very nice catch for a 16 year gain.
One area that has really disappointed me is that our attempts at screeens has been awful. They usually net us little in gains and quite often negative yards. Colts might try and do more dumps to back to get 5-6 yard pick ups.

I think Houston offense had a lot to do with our defense stopping them. Savage is green and was not much of a threat to Colts once Fitzpatrick was injured.. Foster had good game and he was largely Texans offense. Colt offense had a hard time finding a rhythm. Last drive that Colts had to put up FG was about the extent of the Colts offense in 2nd half. In terms of performance: Nicks made a few good plays. TRichardson had a few runs where he put decent yardage. He also made a nice catch and run for 16 yards. Boom looked good on last key drive. Werner put up a good game. Luck was off most of the game although a few of his misses could have easily been yellow flags against Texans.

Luck should be able to slice and dice cowboy defense if offensive line play improves.. Question is whether Colt defense can stop Cowvboys.I probably would give Cowboys edge since the game is in Dallas and this game means more for cowboys than Colts.
-
Werner had a good game as did Nicks and Herron.

I was at game. He does not look injured. Offensive line is a big issue in terms of pass protection and generating consistent run game. Today, I thought that there were some plays where Texans got away with pass interference calls that were not made. He ran well when he left the pocket so I do not think that he is hiding an injury.

Reggie is a warrier. The man has heart and is a dedicated player. Will be at game today so I hope Reggie hauls one in for a TD.

I thought it was too early to go for the 2 pointer. I would have kicked the XP. When we scored what was the game winning TD, we would have then kicked the XP to have a 3 point lead, and it would have taken a FG by Browns to tie. If Hoyer made the connection to Gordon in last 32 seconds, Browsn would have had a chance to get into FG range and because we failed on both 2 point conversions would have been at risk of having a FG beat us. Glad that did not happen but the last 32 seconds was a nail biting time for me.
As for the game, Colts played awful on offense. Offense gave up 14 points. the only thing worse was the Browns Offense that failed to really capitalize on fairly good field position most of the game and missed a fairly easy FG opportunity. Luck has to do a better job of holding onto the football. He has been fumbling a lot laterly and came close to coughing up the ball in last minute of play. Offensive line was terrible most of the game. I am among those who believes that Harrison should not be starting as our center. Shipley may not be great but he appears to be an upgrade over Harrison. Holmes played fairly well at RG when Reitz went down.
If Wayne is hurt then he should sit and hope he can get ready in playoffs. We showed a bit of a running game but abandoned that when we fell behiind. We did not use our TE;s a great deal. Glad to see Donte make that catch on 3rd down. That was a great catch.
We better clean up our game for next week's match up against Houston. A win will result in us winning the division.

McAfee, Davis, Vinatieri, Luck. On the bubble: Hilton.
-
Well we salvaged 3 points but we need to finish drives off. Defense has to come up big here and get us the ball back in good field position
-
not a good way to start 3rd quarter.
-
Bradshaw drop was major issue along with Luck int. Like I said earlier, we need to show some semblance of a run game and we need to stop them. Looks to me that Brady is off on his throws and we have put some pressure on him.
-
We have to stop their run game and we will need to show some of a run game. Do not like some of the play selection by Colts today. Lucky we are only down 4 points.
-
They took him off on cart. That does not sound good. Hope he is back since he is a game changer at TE

We have struggled against teams that have solid TE's. We have to play great D against Peyton and hopefully we can put some pressure on him. He is not mobile and to be honest his arm is not that great right now. It has a lot of miles on it. If we can disrput his timing we can force some mistakes.
Luck has to be hot next week. We need to not drop balls or turn ball over
