Harold Goodwin has been named the new offensive line coach the Colts. Goodwin joins Indianapolis after five seasons as an offensive assistant with Pittsburgh. Also, Indianapolis has parted ways with tight ends coach Ricky Thomas and assistant offensive line coach Ron Prince.

Bruce Arians has been added to Head Coach Chuck Pagano’s staff as offensive coordinator. It is the first move by the club since naming Pagano to his post last week. This is a homecoming for Arians, who served with Indianapolis from 1998-2000 as quarterbacks coach.

Colts Owner and CEO Jim Irsay and General Manager Ryan Grigson conducted a nine-day, eight-candidate search for the new Indianapolis head coach. The search was thorough and included talented candidates. When Baltimore Defensive Coordinator Chuck Pagano interviewed last Tuesday, Irsay may have had a pleasant flashback. It was the same such feeling he had about two weeks ago when he named Grigson. Again, he just knew.
