  1. I like it in a lot of ways. I love the signings of Moore, Williams, Carpenter, Hairston, and Thurmond. Love those signings. The only thing is I think we could get Brian Orakpo on a fairly cheep 1year deal since he's coming off another injury. We all know he's a star. I'm just not a fan of Morgan. I believe we have enough average pass rushers in Walden and Werner, so I think we need to add that beast edge rusher like Orakpo. Honestly I think Grigs should make a big push for Houston but we'll see. As far as RJF. He's been good this year. He's a very solid rotational DT. Our line would be awesome with Jones, Williams, and Redding as the starters and RJF as the main backup. Guys like Hughes and Kerr will be improved too. I wouldn't sign Royal. He's a good WR but I would sign Carter then draft a guy like Green Beckham or Coats in the 2nd. I also like Denzel Perryman better than McKinney. Personally I'd love to see us come out of the draft with Perryman, Green Beckham, and Coleman. All in all though I like your ideas.

Do you think the Colts have a chance at getting Houston? If so, I'm all in for that.

  2. I think you have answered that yourself. Joe has had the benefit of a great defense his entire career. I can't find one year since he has been the starter where the offense outranked the defense. And even after losing Reed and Lewis and other aging vets you have replaced them with younger, faster guys. Fact is Joe has had one of the most complete teams around him his entire career led by a great defense and a great coach. Joe does his part but most of the time he just needs to be average for the Ravens to win and that is pretty indicative when you look at his stats.

I think it's funny how you can replace the name Flacco with Brady in this argument.  Welcome to the Colts fan side of the Manning vs Brady debate and am glad a Pats fan finally agrees.

  3. It happened to have the Bengals game from this year recorded and re-watched it yesterday. I noticed T Rich had probably his best game as a Colt, quite a few plays of more than 3 yards, including one run of about 10 yards and a couple of long gains after catching the ball. Maybe there is something with Bengals defense that favors his running style, I don't know.

Wow!   A few runs over 3 yds and a 10 yd run as the highlight!  Did someone say FedEx ground player of the week?
