  1. The defense did get a couple of stops that gave us a chance. That safety seemed to take the life out of the team. I'll still give the defense a F. Ben went crazy on us. He literally could've sat down and gotten back up then throw the ball every play. That's how much time he had. I'll give the offense a B-. Special teams A. Coaching D -.

  2. he sat on the bench because his route running was terrible. He only knew how to run deep and didn't work on his crossing and comeback routes. He'd also half run routes when the ball wasn't going his way.

Nicks isn't doing any better it's his turn to sit on the bench.

  3. @mchappell51: #colts D? Ranked 3rd overall, 5th passing, 4th scoring BEFORE trip to Pitts. Ranked 16th scoring, 15th overall, 21st passing AFTER giving up 639 yds, 522 passing, 51 pts. @rtv6

    9th rush defense

    Offense is 2nd scoring, 1st passing, 1st yards/game, 13th rushing

Damn it was all good just a week ago.

  4. I'm with you there. At least we got our most embarrassing loss out of the way early. Still the Steelers was playing old school football. Big Ben, Palamalu, and Brett Kiesel all made highlight plays. It was an old fashion whooping.

Yeah we were due for a bad game I just didn't think it would be like this. Hopefully the team learned some things from the beatdown and they bounce back against the G Men.

  5. It's a wine making refrence. Rather than pick the grape (Rogers) when it was ripe and ready to be pruned in to the perfect wine, they let him sit too long and he died on the vine as it were. It's a backhand at the coaching and FO blaming them for Da'Rick being a *.

That's true Rogers was coming along last year. He did absolutely nothing but sit on the bench this year. Maybe that messed him up and he didn't care anymore.

  6. If the Steelers are "garbage"  then what does that makes the Colts?!?     I'm pretty sure losing 51-34 to a team you call garbage does not help our case.

Perhaps you might want to redefine your view of the Steelers?

The Steelers aren't the same team they used to be. I don't mind the loss but to lose the way we did leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

  7. Not sure what the love affair is with Whalen.  He got late snaps when the DBs were giving away the short gains.  There is a reason he doesn't get early snaps, he can't get separation in tight coverage.

Clearly Moncrief needs more snaps in this offense.  He can stretch defense vertically and horizontally in ways that neither Nicks nor Wayne can.

He did a good job as well in last years playoffs. I have no problem with Ty, Moncrief, and Whalen as our 3 future wide outs. I just don't like him as our return man.

  8. That's a problem. A cornerback shouldn't be the cornerstone of your defense. It's fine if he's your best player, but good pass defense starts with a strong, consistent pass rush. We had been doing pretty good there, but not against Pittsburgh.

You're right we need some more playmakers on defense. Last year it was do or die with Mathis and this year its Davis.
