  1. To me, the coordinator at any point in the game should be able to tell the QB that the game is getting away from him and we're not going to audible out of every run play four series in a row.

Blame Luck for not being sharp, but blame Pep for not reeling Luck in at some during that 16-3 streak of paases vs runs.

SPOT ON!  Gore ran on some of the toughest Dʻs in the NFL especially in the NFC west even on blitz packages....feed the ball to Gore Iʻm pretty sure theyʻre not paying him about 4 mil. to just block

  2. I think there is some other motive for doing this rather than a real position switch. No way he can learn the position this year and be worth any trade value before year's end. Also no way they will pay him 16 mill next year to continue to learn . So there's really zero chance the Redskins can benefit from this in the way you're stating. Just adds more to this already crazy saga and it would seem they are messing with him.

Furthermore , he would appear way too injury prone to play safety.

Like they said make him quit...but donʻt think he will as he has 3.249 reasons not to

  3. Also, how many times have I been right in predicting this stuff?

if the Giants run, either A) They get in, go up 2 scores

    B) They get stopped, take 40+ seconds off  the clock.

If it's 4th down, I go for it again. If you get stopped again, Dallas has to go 98 or 99 yards to score with less than a minute to go.

    Exactly what I said too

  4. WOW

    Just wow.

Why did they pass? If they run and get stopped, they take 40 seconds off the clock and the Cowboys have a minute to do something.

Who thought of that play, the Seahawks OC?

    Game over.

    Cowboys win.

Now for Romo to blow down the field for the game winning TD.

    Exactly what I said

  5. Butler is a slot corner.....   he's not an outside corner....   and apparently they're not the same.

So itʻs the coachesʻs fault for not preparing him? Is he not the back-up if Toler or Davis goes down? He is getting paid to play and learn at practice....If he canʻt back-up then donʻt call him a back-up....maybe a sorry *** defensive back is more like it

  6. Because that's a top-3 defense.   Maybe the best in football.

It's not something that's true for all 32 teams.    Just most of them, including us....

Remember,  Buffalo has almost its complete defense coming back.

The Colts have 3 new DL,  a new LB in Cole and a new starting corner Butler and a new safety as well.    Lots of new players learning on the fly....

Agree...except on Butler heʻs been filling in for Toler when hurt for a few years now and should have been a lot better

  7. Why are there incessant referances to "Belichick" and all things Patriots?  They're a team, we're a team.  We have no reason to be obsessed about whether or not Bill Belicheck thinks Andrew Luck is a good QB.  I hate to see that in someone's sig block.  We don't care what Brady said about Manning. We should not care about what "they" think.  Get the New England Patriots out of your head!

?....who is saying such things? I know Skimpy Payless downs Luck every week"so I stopped watching and following FT

  8. And that was unlike Coughlin, as was the prevent defense up until the last 2 plays. I know he's not the DC but he's still the coach. By the time they're at this 40, he's supposed to say to the DC "hey enough of that bu||§€! before they score."

It should not have come to this had they ran on 3rd and 4th...almost as bad as that SB call...knew Romo would score when Eli tried to pass...even told my son Dallas would win and I hate the Cowboys more than the Pats

  9. I'm not disagreeing with your overall post, but seems like you are saying it's oka the Colts lost because Buffalo is a good team.

yes, they are a good team and the Colts, who are also a good team (or at least they should be), lost to them and looked really, really bad doing it.  Yes Buffalo is a tough defense but the Colts are supposed to be the "Greatest Shoe on Turf", right?  Yes Rex Ryan is a defensive minded coach who is known for aggressive defenses.  Pagano is supposed to be a defensive minded coach known for aggressive defenses.  Yes, Tyrod Taylor is in his first game and there is not a lot of film on him.  Luck is supposed to be an experienced veteran that has a photographic memory so he doesn't check into the same bad play when the defense lines up the same way.

That was the difference in the game... The Bills did what they were supposed to do, the Colts did not do what they were supposed to do.  And as a fan of the Colts that is a reason to be disappointed with the way they played.

Yes you are correct...Pagano is very familiar with Ryan...he took over as DC after Ryan left the Ravens and you still let Pep and Luck go deep instead of running the ball or trying screen passes to our speedsters...sigh...maybe itʻs time for a new coach

  10. Something tells me it's going to be a completely different game plan against Brady. They probably won't blitz him as much as Luck (26+ times). Josh McDaniels knows better than to call out anything more than screen to Edelman/Amendola/Gronk.

Why do the Colts continue to go deep...we should run and do the same as the Pats...get the ball to TY/Dorsett/Fleener on screens and use theyʻre speed for YAC...we need to manage and run the clock...and tire-out opposing defenses
