  1. Just show the superman fumble touchdown.....nuff said.

honestly though, I do think Mariotta will bring TN to a higher level than in the last 8 years or so.......  Could be a tough match up going forward in a few years

Good...I like the competition...it will make our team especially the defense a lot better in the future and also stop everyone from calling us a weak division...the Texans is only a QB away from beating us while Jaguars are on the rise too but still need a few more playmakers...bring it on AFC south

  2. About as stuck as me on watching a QB who can't recognize a blitz and know he has to get rid of the ball because more than likely someone is open immediately. Hell I'm even more impressed with Mariota today in being able to utilize his checkdowns, screen games, and not to mention his ability to throw it away when nothing was there. And this is a guy whose only been in the league 6 months, let alone 4 years.

Especially the 1st 2 games...you knew the Bills and Jets were gonna blitz most of the time...especially on third and long...he hangs onto the ball too long...and youʻre right about Mariota reading the blitzʻs better...if he had bootlegged for the 2pts we would be going to OT

  3. dorsett's first td couldnt have come at a better time with the colts facing 3rd and 20, luck being the gunslinger he is throws into triple coverage. honestly as soon as I saw three titans and only dorsett I was like game over and then dorsett makes one heck of leaping grab. just a tremendous play by dorsett. im telling you we'e gonna look back at this season and remember that as the play that turned our season around

Yes I was worried about that one too...thought it was over for sure #LUCKY

  4. What actually turned it around was when Luck STOPPED forcing it deep. Hit the short quick passes. Get a rythm going, hit them with the run, get the D on their heels then you strike. Not trying to run every damn first down we have and trying to go deep all the time to play catch up in downs or because of penalties. We've been screaming for short passes, screens and dump offs since BUF. Finally, finally after 2 1/2 games Pep hit them with it...dude sucks...

Even though we played against the Titans I feel like the way we won the game, will most likely change our season around for the better. Hugh Thornton can play better his first game either actually started in the wild other than the bonehead plays he play very good in my opinion. all I have to say is when we turn our season around all you bandwagon fans that's on this forum all the bandwagon fans around the world all the media all the haters and doubters can kiss our rear end. I've been a Colts fan since 2005 Peyton Manning is the reason why I started watching football I just loved the way he played but that's then and this is now 11 years later I'm still holding down the Colts. Unlike everybody else on this forum is doom and gloom,or ain't got nothing positive to say but fire him, fire them, damn fire everybody lol but not me I'm staying positive because I know that when you stay down for yo squad it make it even more sweet because you were down and rose up higher then ever imagine

So in other words youʻre okay with whatʻs been going on....you and the rest of us canʻt put our frustrations on posts....why do you think they make forums for....canʻt walk up to the coachʻs personally and chastise them can we....so we just post it...GO COLTS!

  5. FYI - This isn't anywhere near as impressive as you seem to think that it is.

Not hating on you or anything, just letting you know that there are members of this forum who have been Colts fans since the Colts moved from Baltimore to Indy (1984)... Some probably since before then...

I actually was born a Colt fan...thanks to my dad...everything I owned had horseshoes on them...shirts..shoes..hats..belt even my bike and not to mention blue and white horseshoes all around the house...but were both disappointed for a couple of years when they moved to Indy until we heard the REAL story behind the move...and I was born in 1970

  6. You guys are thinking about Bobby Petrino. The Falcons were 3-10, and he left with three games remaining and took the Arkansas job.

The Dolphins were 9-7 and then 6-10, and Saban left after the season to go to Alabama. The Dolphins went 1-15 the year after Saban left, with Cam Cameron as the head coach.

I'm not interested in Saban either, but he's not the one who quit on his team because they had a bad record.

    Thanks for the correction Supes

  7. I don't think anyone is eager to trade for any New England backup QBs. Matt Cassel started a whole year, went to KC and did okay, but not worth the high 2nd rounder they gave up for him. Hoyer has mixed returns, mostly below average. Mallett hasn't done anything yet, but couldn't beat out Hoyer in camp.

I'm not usually dogmatic about stuff like this. But over the last decade, pretty much anyone that was hot stuff in New England didn't live up to their expectations once they left. Coaches included.

Matt Flynn is a non-New England example of a favored backup QB who didn't do anything once he left.

Garrapolo looked pretty good in preseason, but I don't think he has significant trade value. Maybe a team with a QB competition would give up a late pick for him.

Yes they were terrible...but the bright side is they made a lot of money...mainly Cassel and Flynn...so I guess they canʻt be too  disappointed..I know I wouldʻnt be $$$$$

  8. Yes that's right, Parry is rated #1 over guys like Goldman, Shelton, Phillips, Brown.

And Anderson -who leads ALL Defensive linemen in tackles and TFL is 'for some reason' 3rd...

But to put bluntly, Both of their overall pick/production ratings blow EVERYONE else in their respective position out of the water.....

Thanks for the info Lawrence....by the way my nameʻs Lawrence too

  9. Might as well give the kid a shot let him develop and see what they have it's not like McCown is going to lead them to a SB and doubtful on making playoffs .

Totally agree....heʻs a 1st rd. pick at least see what youʻve got before next yearʻs draft comes around

  10. I sure hope he doesn't replace Pagano. Irsay needs to clean house and start all over. Pagano is a good guy and might be a good DC, but he is not our coach for the future. I'm not saying this just because we lost our first game. I didn't like the hire from the beginning. I've been a colts fan now for 25 years and I'm tired of being good its time to be great.

Even meaner would be better at this point...just too soft

  11. That sounds just like the report colts staff got back from "the film guy"  this is why I've said Pep needs fired for a long time having access to game tape makes it painfully obvious Pep does not or has not had what it takes to call plays at a NFL level .

He thinks heʻs still challenging defenses out of PAC...this is the NFL Peppy...the cream of the crop...go back to college fb if you canʻt handle the it
