  1. I would be disappointed if we went WR with our first or second pick. An elite quarterback can succeed with average receivers. Defense, defense, defense in my humble opinion.

  2. I wonder if we will see the “Achilles heel” of the great pass rusher (aka what often happened with our greats Freeney and Mathis) — getting burnt by a good run blocking Oline. I readily admit I didn’t have access to watch more than 2 of the Chiefs games so I don’t know a lot about their pass rush/sack success in particular but it seems a generality in the NFL that there are some excellent pash rushers who end up like Clowney — buried underneath BigQ or pushed beyond the boundaries of a good run block.

This should be an competitive game, way more competitive than most of those posters are thinking. They should take note that the Chiefs are 2-4 vs playoff teams (the W came vc Ravens and Chargers, L to Pats, Chargers, Seattle and Rams) and 2-3 since releasing Hunt.

They have a lot of reasons to be confident, but this won't be easy, for neither team.

Wow, I didn't see hose comments. That is unacceptable.

Yea a poster names pugsnotdrugs said it to our cantbestopped but also had said it several pages earlier to a different chiefs fan who voiced some doubts about their team.

  4. I don’t usually agree with Rex Ryan but he sounded pretty smart today when he said these GROWN MEN need to sit down in a no holds barred conversation and find some fixes for this thing. So I guess the question I have is this : in other businesses, bad relationships are often fixed with professionalism and negotiation, not someone getting fired. Is there a solution to this mess that doesn’t involve someone getting fired/traded/released?
