Dear God not two posts ago did I say that I am not saying they need to run exclusively. I said they need to pass some too but they need to use the run to open up the passing game. After the first drive Shane went back to back drives with five passes to two runs. That isn’t balance and it’s not going to work. If you keep being effective running it’s going to open up the passing game for you which it did on the last drive for Mo who dropped it. Bad play by Mo but not a bad call by Shane that’s the exact thing you want to happen. Colts need to execute better but they also need to call the game closer to what they did on the first drive and the drives since the second and third one.
Lots want to crown Shane already, and I admit he has done a lot more with this average to below average roster, but he has also made some bad decision to lean on Gardner.

The offensive roster is so devoid of talent it’s evident. Lots to fix in the offseason. Losing Richardson was so impactful and damaging to the plan. Really needed this growth year.

Glad they came prepared to play an important football game today. Kudos mate

I disagree about not being coached well. For the most part, the majority of this roster is the same team that barely went 4-13 last year.
What you’re seeing is a young team with a handful of veterans and a good, albeit rookie head coach. They’re gonna have up and downs and to even be in the hunt let alone tied for the division with one game to go is a turn around almost unheard of. Shane and the coach of the Texans both deserve to be Coach of the Year. In fact, if it were me, I’d give it to them both
My post was about the defense and the terrible coaching from Gus Bradley

Do you ever post something that isn’t negative?
Jake Browning is a legit starter in the NFL.

Hoping the chiefs win may not be the answer for Indy. KC isn’t very good this season.

The dc needs to go, the talent needs a few more pieces on BOTH sides of the ball and Shane should be considered for the COY award with the job he's done OVERALL!!! We are in this position because of the smoke and mirror job he's done on offense. Coming into today there were ONLY three teams in the NFL that had 5 games of at least 200 yds passing and 150 yds rushing in the SAME game... the Niners, Phins and Colts!!!! If you think anybody could've just came in and took this 4 win team to a playoff possibility while rolling with a limited but spunky backup qb then I think you're being a bit unrealistic.
Yes. Thats my point Gus isn’t coaching well.

Bengals could win out and essentially eliminate us. If the Jags win.
If the Bengals beat the Chiefs I would be shocked.

something is off with this team you could be right . seems like they have potential but something outside of QB is missing
QB, WR, and a full offseason for Taylor will fix the offense.
Then defense needs a new coach. Period. They can be a good defense.

Bradley is a big reason we’re not leading the division now. That 3 game skid giving up 34, 39 and 38 to Jags, Browns and Saints cost us long term. We played well enough offensively in at least the 2 home games vs Browns and Saints, good enough to win, IMO
To be fair. Colts won that Browns game. Just like Detroit last nite. NFL has a problem

i am conflicted about this season happy were winning but the wins look like a struggle . i think this team still needs more pieces even with richardson returning next year . something is off on defense and offense needs more playmakers
I disagree. There is real potential but they aren’t coached well.

Thank god.
But there is no way in hell you can keep Gus Bradley.
Stroud will destroy a soft zone.

I hate Gus Bradley. He is now tied with Lindy Infante for worst coach to work in Indy.

NFL gets what they want. Must see last week of season!

Okay this crew doesn’t hate the Colts they just don’t know what pass interference is late in the game.
That was clear pass interference

Run the darn clock
You are expecting the veteran to know he has to complete it. A dump off at minimum

Gardner. If the coach calls that you HAVE to complete the pass!! You cannot do that. Ugh

Brent’s is gonna be a dawg!

never underestimate a Bradley defense to let a team score quickly.

Honestly, this club has zero business making the playoffs.
