That’s my quarterback

I think we will have at least 3 new LBs. Either 2 in the draft and one in FA or the other way around... Hitchens very likely will be one of them.

I just want to take one of the talented guards that will be available in the 2nd round.
Maybe we could grab someone like Jerome Baker in the 3rd/4th.

I agree it’s a good class, but Hitchens is only 26. I think we’d be fine only taking one in the draft.

That's the usual process..Barnett had 5 sacks and I'm high on Barnett..It takes awhile, same with olinemen..Barkley is on NFL live day 1..
Barnett barely played because the Eagles D-line has lots of talent on it.. lol. And Chubb is a better all around edge than Barnett was anyways.

Ill still take Barkley if thats the choice..just saying..He puts us on the map day 1...Chubb is 2 or 3 yrs down the line....I don't have that kind of patience..
Chubb is a day 1 impact player lol. He’s not Marcus Davenport, he’s not a project. I can understand that your heart is set on the RB( I guess) , but I can’t understand you saying he needs 2-3 years at all.

Chubb is better than Bosa to me. I have no problem with his athleticism. And the crticism is a farce because you can turn on film of that 280lb man making plays in coverage. Mingo is a great athlete. That doesn't always result in sacks. I dont see any amazing athletic traits in Terrell Suggs, but hes damn sure a hunter
We’re on the same page.

He’s not raw imo, he just isn’t very fast.

Why don't the experts see it then?...Why is he the only RB in recent memory to be consensus #1 BPA? WHY is that?
I’ve seen plenty of guys say Saquon isn’t the #1 player. Guys fall in love with athleticism. Trent Richardson was very highly regarded as a prospect too. And he suffered from the same flaws as Saquon... not comparing them but just saying.

He does have flaws you already admitted he wasn't an elite athlete..Thats my hangup with him always has been..In college you can get by but NFL is a different story..That being said he is good, he will be a consistent 8-10 sack a yr guy which is still very good..
He’s not an elite athlete, but he is a very good athlete, very good especially for his size. The bend he has at his size is great, his power, burst and hands are great. I’ve compared him to Bosa a lot, and he wasn’t an elite athlete either. Give me the great football player over the great athlete that plays a lesser valued position.

They got a few..Watch it, if you still don't believe me I give up..
Watch Ohio state, Rutgers, Indiana. One game against an unathletic defense isn’t going to sway me. Like I said, doesn’t possess great vision or decision making, which are the most important traits for a running back.

A lot of people are just hung up on the fact that we are in need of serious Defensive help. Which we could still get with picks 2-7. If everyone would just clear their mind and don't think about team needs, it's not even close who the best player in the Draft is. It's Barkley. What is funny is, RB is a team need as well so picking him at #3 is a no brainer to me. Mack isn't a 3 down back (would be a nice weapon for about 10 carries or so) and Gore is old and probably gone.
Edge > RB
Also barkley has flaws, Chubb doesn’t.
We will take Chubb becuase he’s a top 5 talent anddd because he is the biggest need.

Watch the Iowa game, 40 carries 305 yds..Does it all, shows vision, runs up the middle breaks tackles, catches multiple passes..Basically a 1 man team, no surprise he slowed down as the season went on they rode that Horse to the max..Its on Youtube shows damn near every touch..
Iowa is a great coached defense, but they don’t have nfl athletes to handle Barkley.

"I hope I can give him the most that I can give"
Uh.. Me too Andrew.
That's some highly guarded language
Lol that’s how Andrew has always talked.

I'd probably say Hitchens too, with OG Zach Fulton from KC as a close 2nd.
What he said.

Are all the experts you use to base your Chubb evaluation on right about Chubb, but wrong about Barkley being #1 BPA??
My opinions are based off watching every game of Chubb and Barkley.

It’s a long recovery and he has a long ways until the new season. It’ll be alright.

As much as I hate to admit this, I'd be lying if I wasn't a tiny bit worried about Luck's shoulder especially after this past season thinking Andrew would be good to go by August & he wasn't. Look man, I love Chewbacca man & I know he's working his tail off to return to the field.
I don't think any GM lied to me about Andrew's health. I just want the best for him & pray that there are setbacks this time around.
Nothing wrong with being worried brotha. It’s a scary injury. But we’re talking about Chewbacca here, we know he is bound and determined to come back better than ever. It’s taking longer than we thought/wanted, but until he himself says it’s over, I am assuming with confidence that he will return and be the stud he was before he got hurt.

I never said Chubb wasn't good just 2 or 3 guys I'd rather have..
Just messing with you lol.

Lol...Ill give you Reddick, I like him though...Barnett is a different story he is gonna be a monster..
Barnett is 6′ 3″, 259 lbs. Chubb is 6′ 4″, 276 lbs and more explosive, and a better run defender. I agree Barnett is going to be very good, but that just makes my case for Chubb even more imo lol. You’ll be happy with Chubb after he plays a few games, gonna be an instant impact player.
-
Someone in this thread really said Shaq Griffin is a better player than Bradley Chubb? Jshipp you’ve been one-upped.

This draft that is weak on defensive ends yeah...Last year he would be 10-20..Garrett>>Barnett>>Reddick>>Chubb
Just ridiculous to think Reddick would go before Chubb.
I’d take Chubb before Barnett too.
-
Just the fact some of you in this thread are saying Chubb(position of high value, who has no flaws at all besides not having elite athleticism) isn’t worth the 3rd pick. But say Saquon(position of less value, that doesn’t have great vision or decision making) is worth the 3rd pick is really mind boggling.
Its like you just watch highlights lol.

Agreed....Chubb is good prospect never said he wasn't..Most drafts he is a 10-15 in my opinion..Barkley will be a monster no doubt..
Show me 3 mocks where Chubb is picked 10th or later. That aren’t 2 months old.

I probably would be thinking "that's fun and all, but damn, wouldn't having this shut down corner Minkah or that beast on the EDGE be better?" Even if he's playing great, Barkley will likely not provide better value than Chubb or Minkah or even Nelson.
Yessir. For me it’s: Chubb > Nelson > Minkah > Saquon
