No. I'm saying we should target him instead of Chubb or Nelson.
Chubb is a much better prospect than Mike. Nelson is too. Both are also bigger needs.
Why do you think we should taget Mike over them?

Yep. Smith, Edmunds, or even McGlinchey should have always been our round 1 target. Not Barkley, Chubb, or Nelson.
You’re saying McGlinchey should be higher on our boards than Chubb and Nelson?

I was kidding. I think he's pretty high but they probably already know everything they need to know. + he's not dropping to 6 most probably.
I think there’s a chance he drops to 6 pretty easily. If browns pass on him at 4, well damn... he’s gonna fall to the Bucs.

That’s it? Just the 60 official visit?

Smokescreen!
I just don’t think he’s as high on our board as fans think.

Only person there for Indy is an area scout.

Should be a great TE2.

Says who???? Hankins played his whole career in a 4-3 except last year. Who said he did not fit a 4-3???
I mean Irsay said it.. which means the staff thought it.
Not all 4-3s are the same by the way.

Elite QB with an elite neck beard. Love Andrew Luck.

I wish TJ was a better football player. Hope he has success his year though. I wonder what position it would be at.

But he was still better than the rest of the LB core, so what are you trying to argue? It’s not really common sense to bash a player, especially if he outperformed the competition in house. Your argument is excused from the use of logic.
Again, we changed schemes. C’mon man, holy % lol. I never bashed him either FYI, I said he is bad.
Again, common sense ain’t so common for everyone.
25 minutes ago, Cynjin said:I could be wrong, but I thought all ColtsBlitz was saying is that there is no reason to bash Bostic on his way out. He was not saying the Colts should retain Bostic. At least that's how I took the post.
And I would agree with that. But some posters seem to think it was a mistake letting him leave, and I don’t know if that’s funny or sad.

Right
I forget common sense isn’t so common for some people.

I wasn't supporting or saying he should have been brought back. I was supporting the poster who said he shouldnt be TRASHED.
Hankens was a solid player. He was cut yesterday for monetary reasons. He also was Trashed to show support for el cheapo.
Hankins was cut because of scheme change, had nothing to do with money. Lol

We can grab one or two quality starting caliber guards in the 2nd. I’d go Chubb, if he’s gone, Edmunds.

So because he was better than the other backers we have and he is leaving, it permits us to trash a temporary fill-in player? I’m sorry if my stance doesn’t qualify for a misuse in common sense.
He was bad? Check. We changed schemes? Check. We will most certainly draft a LB or two? Check.
Seriously, common sense, use it.

I mean, Bostic was our best ILB in awhile, but let’s trash on him. Sure, why not?
27 minutes ago, LJpalmbeacher2 said:Don't you know, by trashing ex-colts that el cheapo doesn't bring back you show support to him? Like a good little colt fan is supposed to. Lol.
Just because he was the best on a team with terrible LBs doesn’t mean he was good? Common sense, use it.
-
He won’t be coming here.
-
No thanks to Vita at 6.

Is Pugh the last quality OL available? I’ll probably cry if we dont get him.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t sad lol

Maybe we thought the compensation he provides us from compensatory pick is worth more than keeping him. If things continue this way with free agency Ballard might end up with a nice mid round compensatory pick next offseason after losing Moncrief, Mewhort, Gore, and Melvin. If Ballard is truly committed to building through the draft he might think a nice couple draft picks next offseason will more than offset losing these guys.
I don’t want to lose Mewhort.
-
We couldn’t have gave him 6.5 million?
-
At this point I’d be really happy if we signed Jensen and Mewhort.

So you’re implying we trade down from 6 and then take Mike? That’s not as bad. I agree on your opinion about Nelson. I would much rather have Chubb if possible though. Edmunds is pretty enticing also..
