  1. They could, but that would be due to the awful afc south the Colts are in. If the Colts played in the North or West their chances of a 3 seed would be nil.

I'll give you the west, but the north? no way, realistically the winner of that division is probably only going to take it by a game or so, I'd take my chances their, but then again that'd mean somebody else is gotta play in the south and get the 3, lol  ..also by that reasoning if you put the pats in the north you still going to give them the 2 spot, cause the east is pretty cupcake to ya know

  2. I think the problem with these things is that the media is always looking at what you did last year, and even then its a very superficial glance. They don't get deep into the training camp moves a team makes or the position battles.  They take highlight topics like T-rich's yac and such and say well this is who a team is.  Myself, as a colts fan but also a football fan, i don't think we are any lower than 3rd in the AFC. I come to this conclusion for two reasons, one is division status/ potential seeding , the Chargers are not going to win their division, so at best they are 5th, and that's based on the assumption that Rivers is going to play well, and in my opinion that's iffy, and then you have the north, where the ravens, bengals and steelers are going to beat up on each other, this will happen, with the winner probably having a worse record than us, so were talking a 4 seed at best and the runner up the 6 seed, leaving the colts as the 3. My second reason is simply my football instincts i guess, in the fact that i aint scarred to see us play anyone in the AFC and not come out on top, with the exception of the sheriff and the cheaters. And truthfully i think if we win one of those two games we are looking at an easy 2 seed. Now if we were to make it to the superbowl, well thats a whole another story cause theirs a few teams in the NFC i aint looking to play for the all the marbles ya know.

  3. Say what you will bout  Harbaugh, but that dude is tuff..  hes just got a nasty streak in him when it comes to competing and i am a big fan of that..anybody remember the year Marshall sat out for turf toe and ole Jim was getting knocked down and bloodied like every snap..dude would just get back up and take it again, yeah..Harbaugh never liked loosing, mad love for that dude.

  4. Everyone is always worried bout T-Rich, and the "trade"...it happened, gotta get over it. In my opinion as long as he blocks when hes supposed to block and continues to at least get 2 or 3 yac then he is doing great. I mean really, with the way this team is built we do not need him to be beast mode, he probably will not get the carries for that to happen anyways, what we need from him is to stay healthy for  the next 3 to 4 years and and do what he does, which is block and get short yardage..period. We have plenty of other players that can become superstars, as long as he is their every week in the line up and doing the "blue collar" work then im fine with him, position addressed and we can worry bout other things, like o-line and secondary .

  5. Whatever you do, it probably doesn't hurt to have a terrible season every 5 or 10 years just to get a chance to pick at the top of the draft, i think the pollian/manning years showed you cant expect to have strong depth when continually picking 27th to 31st in the draft...i suppose you could always go the patriot way and trade down, but you know I'm loathe to suggest  doing anything their way..

  6. I think every one focuses on our injury issues a bit much, while its easy to say that yes if we get hit again this year like last year we will not go far in the playoffs, its also just as easy to say if new england / denver have injury problems we could be challenging for the afc tittle..because really in my opinion only the pats and broncos can be seen as clearly better than the colts in the afc,  i truly think we are the number 3 seed in the afc on a level playing  field but injuries could easily push us down to a 5/6 seed or up to a one seed.
