I'd buy a plane ticket to the place that signed me and get to work. Take the Peyton route. I'd pre-order the best tickets to wrestlemania for my nephew.

This excites me. I like a fired up d. I know on paper we may not be great, but last I checked, heart and team pride can't be measured.

Yea, the superstar mode has gotten pretty stale. I wish they'd bring back the jump the snap from 10. Create a play would be good.

I think he was just speaking on the fact that AL can always improve and is looking to do so. Which is exactly what you want to see. I don't like players who come in and think they don't have to work anymore.

I saw the one with RGIII. I don't remember who was interviewing him, but he showed RGIII a play on the whiteboard, then asked RGIII a bunch of unrelated questions, then he told RGIII to draw up the route he showed him earlier. RGIII did it to perfection, but one thing had me bothered...
RGIII has a tendency to dip his head and look bored, and kind of roll his head to the side sometimes, as if he thinks he's better than everyone else. He has that silent protest attitude about him. RGIII doesn't smile as much as Luck does, and RGIII just feels like he's going through the motions to get paid, whereas Luck seems to be having fun with all this. I just get a feeling RGIII is seeking the NFL for money, whereas Luck is seeking the NFL to make a name for himself.
I guess only time will tell...
I believe you were watching Steve Mariuci in one of his pre-draft interviews. I thought RGIII seemed smart. I honestly don't think we could go wrong with either of these guys. It's a great time to be a Colt's fan

I agree with you. I think we definitely need to get a corner in the earlier rounds of the draft.
-
Did anyone else find it disturbing that our best corner was rated so low? I mean I know Jerraud isn't a big game changer, but he is our starter and he was rated like 85th. And before I get attacked, I know that it is was written by someone who isn't highly qualified, but still....
-
I really don't know how we will get over the loss of our best player. Jacob Lacey was such a versatile player. He was our best corner....surefire hall of famer.

Comparing the 2012 roster to the 2011 roster, we should be better and deeper, and we'll have better coaching. The 2011 team was really just a decent quarterback away from winning 6 games.
I completely agree. I think the most important play of the season was when we played the Steelers and Curtis Painter missed a wide open PG85. I know it seems foolish to base a whole season on one play, but I think if he completed that pass, things would have been a lot different. I actually think we were helped in FA this year though. We have gotten marginally better on defense and on the offensive line IMO

Hey who knows what went on in that onside kick scrum, not that we ever do
I remember one player stepping on one of ours. No one else does so maybe I'm crazy, but I remember being crazy ticked off that flags weren't thrown for that scrum

Colt: Marshall Faulk
Non-Colt: Arian Foster....please don't kill me!
-
I think we need a true #2 receiver. Collie is great, but I don't think he will draw any attention away from Reggie. I think we need a TE, NT, and 2 DBs

@Gramz, I'm not trying to rehash or anything, I just found the irony in the wording. I'm sorry if I opened a can of worms

Like I said, I wasn't trying to start a debate. I just found it fishy. I understand they didn't intend on keeping him, but why risk a locker room issue with the statements like "If he wants, he'll be a Colt" or "It isn't about the money."? There was just far too much beating around the bush. If you wanna cut someone, do it. Don't give your fanbase false hope or try to turn it into a campaign.

The Progress I hope for....is for our coaches to put players in a position to make plays, our players to make those plays, and the rest of the NFL not to take games against us lightly. I don't want us to be the team everyone wants to play like last year.
-
My only question is how he was cleared by other team doctors, but not our own. I'm not trying to start a debate, just seems fishy to me. Anyway, best of luck a mile up

If any team would be best advised to "Suck for ___" it would be them. Park for Bark?
My professor is a huge Miami fan and he says "Blow for Barkley"
-
And we got Drew Stanton to fight with Dan Orlovsky for the backup job to Andrew Luck.
Danny O isn't with the team anymore. He signed with Tampa Bay last week
-
Peyton.
Pat McAffee and Curtis Painter are on my list too. I heard they were donating hair to locks of love which strikes close to home with me
Pat Angerer, Robert Mathis and Antoine Bethea.
Old Colts: Johnny U, Raymond Berry, Eric Dickerson, Marshall Faulk, Mike Doss, Bob Sanders, and Jim Harbaugh

^It is kind of a blind gamble. That's kind of the point.

I thought it would be fun to play the prediction game. So, basically put where you think the colts will rank in a couple different categories in 2012.
Total Offense: 20
Total Defense: 17
Rushing Offense: 24
Passing Offense: 16
Rushing Defense: 13
Passing Defense: 22
Record 7-9 3rd in the AFC South.

Being in the East Texas, I would much rather hang out with Houston or Dallas fans. There are a select few Saint's fans that I can get along with. Kansas City has a good classy following.

So is Andrew Luck no longer a sure thing for us?

It's a shame, in my mind. Pete Rose was suspended for life, and he didn't hurt anyone. I know baseball isn't a contact sport, but still. In the era of player safety, I'd say NO got off lightly.
