  1. ball babies..Colts win and all you care about is Caldwell job...don't call your self fans then

i do not think Caldwell can win us a super bowl and that should be the goal of a true fan. So to answer your question maybe your not a true fan cheering for obne meaningless win when it means we keep a coach thsat cannot take us back to the big game.
  2. I don't think this means his job is safe. 3-13 (which is best case scenario) is no reason to keep your job, it is nothing to be proud of

Clayton and many others think 2-14 saves his job as do i. I just hope i am wrong i want anyuone other than Caldwell.
  3. this pretty much secures it, thanks for hoping for that win, now we have to endure more years of ill-timed time outs and horrible coaching.

i did not want the win but many others here did this just sucks caldwell cannot coach pee wee football
  4. 1 more win and we 50/50 our chances of getting Luck.

    2 more and we gaurantee a #2 or #3.

    Rams opponents: Steelers, 49ers

both teams already clinched their playoff spots but even with their backups, those teams will win

    Vikings opponents: Redskins, Bears

Redskins want to finish strong and Bears are still in the hunt for the playoffs.

Its Peytons team! Bringing Luck as backup will not help our cap space. Im tired of all this Luck nonsense.

    but it saves caldwells job
  5. Ive been jumping between the colts game and Broncos/Vikings. I really think Tebow is the real deal. He is ripped on his passing, but from what i am seeing he is right on the mark. He is mobile, smart, and can throw a solid pass. I like his emotion and desire. Nice job Tebow!

do myou kinow what tebows record as a starter was last year
  6. I want some new HC candidates by January .... this is the worst team I ever seen and I live in Michigan. I'm hearing about Jack Del Rio, Andy Reid, Jason Garrett, Spags in STL, but nothing about this clown of a coaching staff. I know everything is still yet to happen but this Luck thing seems to be a bigger issue right now when to me it shouldn't be thus I wonder where the organizations priorities are ...

Jim Leveates not sure how spell it grr lol but the 49ers linebackers coach or if miamis coach gets fired would be my top 2 choices for hc next year
  7. Interesting, never though about him at Center. Gettng a little long in the tooth, though, Might not get called as often for false start at Center. Actually I believe Pollack was drafted as a Center and is listed on depth chart behind Saturday. He sure as heck is way down my list as a guard.

he was a center at asu and was supposed to take over for saturday
  8. It doesn't make the most sense, it just makes happy the people who see Rodgers instead of Luck as our draft pick.

If we are switching up defensive coaches and schemes next year, coupled with the massive amount of key free agent contracts looming, we have far greater priorities.

People are just looking at the great team Green Bay had before and after Rodgers and assuming the transition is that easy. Well, we don't have a good team (apparently), so it does us no good to rebuild our back up QB situation when that pick could be traded to make us a better all around team.

my thoughts exactly keep manning or draft Luck do not have both.
  9. Assuming he is completely healthy and he restructures his deal to make it trade friendly, what could we get in return for him? We wont get as much as we would for Luck, but I could still see us getting a good return for him.

I think KC could get us a lot in return for him since they were reported to trying to trade for Peyton last offseason. I would want their 2012 1st rounder to get us OG David DeCastro to protect Luck, and CB Brandon Flowers.

Again this is hypothetical, so Im not saying this will happen, but its a what if thread.

this will not happen Peytn is staying if healthy and we will draft luck also unfortunately. But, hypotheitical tell me this. If you are PM why would you restructure your contract to be traded? If i was PM i would make the colts cut me be a free agent go to whatever team i wanted to go not who the Colts chose and i would still have all my draft choices to build for a SB run. If the tea he went traded for him he would be losing first rounders that could help him back to the SB.
  10. It is a huge difference! LSU plays against a half dozen future NFL players every week, often even more than that. Connecticut may see a couple a month.

what he is saying is yes addai played against better defenses but he also had better o-line and skill players. As for myself i havfe always liked JD who wouldn't he has performed well since edge left, but i beleive DB is a better runner and like i said earlier he is younger and cheaper than JD that fact right there is why i would take DB over JA at this point. But, i will give you that i think a younger Ja was a more complete back receiving, rushing, and blocking combined made him a top flight NFL running back but he was not stellar in any one category. I think DB can be really stellar RUNNING the ball but he wil always be weaker in the other categories and once Peyton comes back and teams really have to fear the play action pass again we will be great again.
  11. What do you guys think about Vontaze Burfict? He was originally predicted as a potential Top 5 pick but has slid far down the draft boards due to a "bad attitude". You think that he could be a second round steal? IMO I think that he has the potential to be a monster in the right scheme (which won't be a Cover 2). He could change the culture of this defense. Sort of like James Harrison or Suh. His only real problem is lack of maturity.

i am in arizona i have been to a couple asu games and i am telling you this is the next Ray Lewis he is all that and more but he will not fall to the second round he is to good. Top 15 book it
  12. Sorry if you are such a Donald Brown fan you cant see facts. There have been a number of games over the past two seasons where Brown was ineffedtive. He has probably three games out of his entire career where he ran well. Even Addai and Carter run a lot better than Brown with the same putrid O line. In the NFL, if you are a 1st round pick YOU ARE expected to be more than a below average player and Brown fits the bill of a below average NFL player. He could have stayed the entire 4 years in college but that would not make him more talented. It isnt the learning curve or just the O line but a lack of talent that is keeping Brown from excelling. It is no coincidence that the Colts were the only team to not grade Brown as nothing more than a mid round at best draft seletion and he is constantly proving the pundits, experts and outsiders correct in that assessment.

you are wrong Arizona Cardinals were prepared to take him, but since we took him they took beanie wells.
  13. Heck I don't really care if we win a game at this point. The #1 pick is far more valuable than a measly meaningless win. If we win a couple that pick could be jeopardized. Stay the course with Painter:)

i thought i was the only one here tht thought that way. hellwithns getting better forr is alls now
  14. How mny of you were calling for him to betraded just a few months ago and now are singing his praise. I just don't tink he can be the blocker that the team needs him to be. As for Addai's injuries, the stength and conditioning coaches on this team are garbage. How many players go down every year and return in the league? How many of our players usually return. Dont turn on Addai. If he wasnt hurt and was churning out 4.5 yrds a run, then im sure the cry for Brown to be released would be backin full swing.

Brown is cheaper and younger as long as he is getting better and shows promise then there is no doubt who needs to go. Sorry i like Addai but i want the colts to be their best and that is with a younger cheaper donald brown not the favorite
