  1. I for one am sick and sad to learn that our feisty coach is battling leukemia As we know. Bruce Arians now named as the Interim head coach.

My thoughts.....Tom Moore on speed dial (for either OC or QB Coach)......we will need another coach. Clyde Christianson seems to be doing a nice job with the receivers. Colt fans chime in....and prayers once again for the Pagano Family, Colts Family and all that suffer from disease and all problems that life present. Go Coach Pagano! We are rolling up our sleeves for you!

    :colts: :colts: :colts:

wish him a recovery and a happy ending, but if we have to get another coach ray horton down here in az is doing a heck of a job with the cardinals defense
  2. This is the most excited i have been for a season on recent memory. The reason is i honestly do not know what to expect. I have seen predictions of us going anywhere from 1-15 to 9-7. We have a new coaching staff, new offense, and thank God a new defense. I do not think we will be good this year maybe 5-11 but we have so much promise that i cannot wait to get started and see what can come of the Luck era. Unlike Peyton i believe we will have a decent defense to support Luck and go alot further. All i can say is lets get this thing started and see where it can go heres to a new era. Oh and good luck Peyton i'm still hoping you can win another ring before Luck and the Colts reemerge as the best team in the NFL.

  3. I think blowing off his homework is a sign he is lazy and not willing to put forth the effort to succeed. It's one thing to talk about it but he's not even signed to the team yet and already showing signs of not being able to keep up with everything. Colts should have drafted RGIII

Edit RG3 is an incredible talent i will give you that, but luck is by far superior they compare him to Elway. Have you seen the pass for 50+ yards while falling down, or the block where he laid out the defender, or any of his scrambles? Now the guy is saying he would rather be with his team rather than class so he can do his job better. Your critisizing him for this? I own my own company, i would give anything to have an employee that deeicated , he would be running my company for me. Stop hating him cause ummm well you know lets say personal reasons. If RG3 said the same thing i would love him and back him 100%. I do not care who the Colts drafted i just waqnt my team to get back to the glory days and be the nest franchise in the NFL.
  4. I think we should and it has nothing to do with his ability but everything to do with we already have Reggie Wayne for 3 years we can always get a tall fast wide receiver in the middle rounds I bet and groom him to be a future number 1 or wait to the following year

I love Reggie but face reality he has lost a step and is no longer a legit #1 wr he is a really good #2 at this point and will only get worse
  5. Come on everyone take the blinders off. I know everyone here bleeds blue but be realistic, even with Peyton at the helm we would barely win our division. Luck will be great but he is a rookie, rookies qbs do not go to the playoffs. Anyhow, it would not benefit us to do it anyway i do not want to be mediocre i want sb rings. IM as big a fan as anyone here so those of you that will say differently with my following statement will not bother me. I hope Luck struggles a bit and gets better nas the season goes along just like PM 26 tds 28 ints and we get the #1 pick again. Then we trade it for 3 future #1s to Cleveland, then we build a team with those future #1s and the cap money we will have next year to build a dynasty for the next 12 years. Sorry but that sounds alot better to me than barely making the playoffs and getting knocked out in the first round. I want the Colts to replace the Steelers with the most rings, if you can say i am not a true fan for wanting to tank 1 season to be great i will argue back that your not a true fan either for wanting mediocrity instead of being the best franchise in the NFL.

  6. I am disappointed we did not get a big, tall #1 type WR to play opposite of Reggie.Even Streeter, who is a major project would have been better than no one. How many small scatback type slot receivers do we have now? I think Avery & Hill would have been enough, we did not need to add anymore.

i am with you there were several availabe we got two more wrs like avery
  7. The answer will be somewhere in the middle, I would settle for 10th pick in the draft!!! If we have 3 QBs that are top 10 material, I would actually like to be in the 4-6 range to have a chance to gain some picks for the future, like the Rams did this year.

Remember, after Peyton's rookie year, we got Edge at No.4 and we took off. We might get that stud DE/OLB or CB that we covet by trading down and gaining picks. Lots of ways to think long term, IMO.

dont any of you want a wr like robert woods? Yes we will have a top 10 pick next year anyone who does not think so is living in fantasy land. T he following year ;Lucks 3rd season we will be back in the playoffs though withn our draftees learning and the money we have in fa to spend.
  8. We all had our own designs on who the team should take.... but the team had a strategy and it looks like they executed it well, IMO. And you're right.... its a 2-year project.

One note.... I don't think I've ever heard a more negative range of comments about a college player's character than I heard about Vontaze Burfict. The kid sounds like pure poison to a locker room and I'm glad we didn't touch him.

i actually live in Phoenix i know all about Burfict my bosses sister knows his g/f they go to school together. He is killing himself for messing up like this and all he wants is a second chance. He has talent and i believe this woke him up besiders that we had 3 7th round picks even if he was a bust what would we have lost?
  9. i like LUCK.Fleener, especially Chapman but the rest of the draft confuses me. We could have had Denard, Streeter, Minnefield and burfict I also like T Y he would have looked really good by Streeter. All i cn think of is thios might5 be a 2 year project next year our first pick must be Robert Woods then all defense.

  10. Round 1 Andrew Luck Stanford {this is obvious} Round 2 WR Stephen Hill GT Round 3 Nt Alameda Ta'amu Washington Round 3 CB Trumaine Johnson Montana {pick via Freeney trade} Round 4 WR Tommie Streeter Miami Round 4 Brandon Taylor LSU {via Clint Sessions compensation} Round 5 OLB Emmanuel Acho Texas Round 6 RB Bobby Rainey Western Michigan Round 6 TE Chase Ford Miami Round 7 NT Nicolas Jean-Baptiste Baylor wow did not even plan it 10 picks 5 offensive 5 defensive lol

  11. I don't want to go TE that early but even if we do, I like Dwayne Allen over Fleener.

Some people have been saying that since the since the TE talent is weak this year in terms of depth, Fleener should last to the mid-late second round...well wouldn't it make sense, in a draft where most of the other positions are deep, to target the top tier talent (Allen and Fleener) at a less deep position slightly earlier than normal, so long as you have a need there, since it may very well be the only "real" talent at the position...just a thought. I never really got the whole "The TE class is weak this year so that means the top guys will fall also" argument.

i want to take a flyer on Chase Ford in the 6th or 7th out of Miami he has alot of upside.
