  1. What, just because you beat KC , you're going to be magnanimous and close the thread ? Nobody said he was a bad guy, and everyone feels bad for his loss, but blowing a game like that opens you up for criticism. You are up 28 points and not running the ball more to kill time , especially with all the injuries ? You use a time out right after the two minute warning? You start the season undefeated , then fade down the stretch and have a historic playoff fold ? Your 0-6 against the better playoff teams on your schedule.

To be fair, he had a nice season. But my point is does KC want to be another Philadelphia, where you have some great regular seasons , but constant playoff disappointments. Your owner Irsay, was apparently tired of this , which is why he fired Polian. However, at least the guy got him one Super Bowl. Maybe Reid will get one for KC one day, but he didn't get one for Philly despite great talent, and this crushing playoff loss does not bode well. It had to be devastating to all Chief fans.

I have no idea what you're talking about.  I just thought a thread regarding Andy Reid that started with a post that read: "Karma.  'Nuff said" really didn't contribute much, in terms of meaningful discussion, to a Colts-specific message board.  Call me crazy.  I guess.

  2. I wish I had the power to close this thread.  Say what you want about Andy Reid as a football coach but he is a decent human being that endured a significant family loss recently.  I'd say this thread is in poor taste.

  3. We phased out the jumbo sets and have been running primarily out of one-back sets.

We don't have the personnel to run a lot of the power stuff but by going spread, we have found a little space up the gut for Donald Brown to squirt through.

Good move by Pep to work with what you have.

  4. Did anyone else notice how much better the coverage was in our secondary after Toler left and Gordy started getting some snaps?  Lynch did an okay job while filling in for Landry, too.

Toler was clearly either rusty or still bothered by that groin because he looked snow.

Vontae looked a step off as well.  Hope he gets healed up quickly.

  5. Kind of terrible is putting it nicely. He was horrendous in the 1st half (Bethea jumped on Bowe instead providing the help for Avery). Thank goodness the Chefs called timeout on that 4th and 11. Bethea had cheated all the way up to the line of scrimmage and Bowe was about to manhandle Davis on a slant pattern.

Landry's the FS.  Wasn't that his responsibility to be the single high safety on that play?  I thought Bethea was responsible for the flat on the particular play.  I could be wrong.  They could have been playing halves and Bethea blew coverage on his half.

A lot of blown coverages have been incorrectly attributed to Bethea instead of Landry.

  6. I think he's a troll. I'm not sure. Lol

    I'm not a troll.

I love the Colts just as much as anyone here.

It's great how you welcome new members here.  I question someone's analysis/opinion and and am called a troll.

I'm a moderator at several other forums and realize that the timing of someone popping up can be a troll indication so maybe that's why I'm getting the attacks but I'm not here to attract anymore attention.

I just want Luck to get his first playoff W and to keep the post-season train rolling.

  7. I'm gonna let statement that stand on it's own. -grin-

I'm not a fake Colts fan.

I've lived in Indy my whole life.  I'm rooting as hard as anyone for the Colts to win this.

Brian Casserly's statement was so mind-boggling that after months of browsing the board I joined to make a statement because I couldn't take it anymore.

The offense has scored 31 points in 3 quarters on one of the best defenses in the league and the offense is the problem when we're still down by 10 points?

    Yeah okay . . .

  8. You've NEVER heard me say it or even hint that I believed we should fire this Offensive Coordinator. But he does NOT have talent. If he doesn't have the players, he is incapable of making adjustments in any kind of timely manner. We're a second half team....but I can't see Hamilton figuring this out....goodnight and God bless.

While I agree that Pep has called some suspect plays in this game, you can't be serious that the offense has been the bigger problem.

The defense can't stop a nose bleed.  Haven't you been watching?  Be reasonable with your response.  I want to hear why the defense has not been a problem whatsoever thus far.
