Its 2 maximum...Its up to you whether or not to keep 2, 1, or none. If you keep none, it will be a normal draft in the order that you finished (in reverse)..If you choose one keeper, you won't pick until the second round in your spot. If you choose to keep both keepers, then you won't draft until round 3.

Hello all,
It's that time of the year again; the time to rev up the engines for a new season of fantasy football.
We've had two good seasons now, with last season being our first season under the Elite/Average Joes program. In the Average Joe's league, Dustin and Us and Them were the winners, meaning that they are going to be moving on into the Elite League.
In the Elite league, hillbilliesfromhell (John Dee) and FX Stryker will be moving down into the Average Joe's league (which was ridiculously competitive).
All teams have been sent a renewal email, and if you follow the easy instructions, you guys will be back in the league. Dustin, Us and Them, hillbillies and FX Stryker will get a different email soon directing you to the different leagues. How it will work from there, Dustin will have first choice at which of the vacant teams (from the 2 departing guys) that he wants, and Us and Them will take the other one. Hillbillies will have first choice at which team he wants in the Average Joe league (from the 2 departing teams). It's a switch; easy enough to understand.
I'd be surprised if every single team were to rejoin, so if you were not in the leagues last year, and you are interested this year, please post a comment in this thread showing your interest, and you will be placed on a waiting/alternate list. This list is important because.....
.... I expect every owner to be an active member of the league and to participate all the time. If this does not happen, the alternate/waiting list will come into play. Of course, we all have lives outside of the league (I hope), and there will probably be events or something every now and then. All I ask in those situations is just a courteous email a few days before the event letting me know.
I haven't been on the forum much in the last week, I've just been way too busy, but what I plan on doing is setting up both leagues like I did last year and working with you guys to work on a functional draft date (and any other deadline). Last year we did it in mid-August; some guys liked after the preseason, so maybe we'll do that. Either way, we'll figure that crap out a bit later.
I'm not sure if there's anything else I need to go over; a reminder to CHECK YOUR YAHOO EMAILS and to sign up into the league; THE QUICKER THE BETTER, and the faster I can get everything set up.
So, who's ready for a great year?

Cruz isn't that small. He is about Reggie's size
I've met him at Giants practice, hes no taller than me. Im 5'10 193 lbs he's listed as 5'11 Wayne is 6'0. As far as build, hes no bigger than me either.

What I mean by "better fitted" is he's DEADLY in open space. There's more open space in the slot role than the outside role imo
Most of Hiltons damage was done on the outside, where he was lined up the most

1. Ty Hilton is too small to be a #1. Disappears from games from time to time. Better fitted in the slot & #2 WR. Don't believe he's ready to go against the opponents top CB week after week. Not taking anything from him, he's amazing. But not ready to carry the WR core

1. What do you mean by better fitted? There are plenty of undersized number 1 receivers who played in the past till now: Marvin Harrison - Antonio Brown. I just think one more year and Hilton will be primed for a number 1 role and plenty of money

It is but context is everything. AJ Green and AP are stars while TY is a good starter, but hardly a star IMO.
If you bring up the context that both Green and AP are also good at scoring TD's in the red zone while TY on the other hand is not a guy you would generally send on a corner route in the red zone it shows a huge difference.
TY is great in the open field but he's almost a liability in the red zone. That's why you need bigger guys like Moncrief, Rodgers, Wayne, Nicks, Allen and even Fleener.
Size is overrated, there are plenty of undersized receivers that are great in the red zone i.e. Steve Smith, Victor Cruz, Wes Welker and the list goes on.

It means a big dependable target for Luck. If we stay relatively healthy we are going to be a big problem in the AFC and should compete for a first round bye.

Ceasar Rayford and Lawrence Guy really hurt because we could have kept them for nothing. Especially the pass rush ability Rayford showed last pre season

So what do you do if those injuries happen in season? Gonna be hard to keep 7 WR's on the opening day 53. Doing so comes at the expense of another position and likely hurts your ST's.
Very true J, its a catch 22 brother. I propose 6 WR'S :Wayne, Hilton, Nicks, Rogers, Whalen, Moncrief. But who listens to me

Based on Hakeem Nicks injury history, holding on to Rogers and Whalen seem to be the smartest idea
. Given the circumstances last year I think Rogers/Whalen showed flashes of great playmaking ability. -
I thought Howell played well when he started for Laundry when he was hurt.

I say lets stay "Lucky" and keep Andrew off the cover. I don't want to try the Madden curse with him. Even though Calvin Johnson broke through the curse.

I guess that I don't see the Colts over San Diego, Baltimore or Cincy. I see the Colts at about five or six and in a battle for the South Division title. I think our free agents improved us a little but as you mention the O-Line still needs work and we need a safety.
we were better than the aboved mentioned teams last year lacking our top weapon in a weaker division. I believe those factors put us ahead.

Im going to say 3rd, The Broncos and Pats aren't playing any games with anyone this season. I like our acquisitions but I think we need a stud G. Im willing to give Khaled Holmes a shot at C

I know i'm not the only one who played that beta this week. That game is awesome, if they can make a great game with mechs like that, imagine if they actually made a real Gundam game like titan fall. That game will give me something to do until football season rolls back around lol. Tired of Madden
