Take Dalvin Cook, trade up if you have to, he's a beast it will complement Luck on the offense and he won't get battered too many times with a quality RB in the offense. As for the defense, if you're getting paid millions to make a decision who to draft, use your head that's what you're getting paid for.....think outside the box...

Is Bellicheck a friendly coach? All he's doing is going to the Super Bowl every other year.
-
Nice you included D Cook. If possible, get R Foster, saw some of his highlights, Colts need this hitting machine, will make a difference on the defense....
-
Forgot to pick up D Cook, and make a play for Rueben Foster, replace him with one of the ILB on your list.
-
Doesn't make sense, you still have the same field generals out there that's calling the shots....No way, no how this team can improve with the same coach and basically the same players....But the writing on the wall is, make it in 2017 or bye, bye 2018.....
-
He'll still make poor decisions, he'll still have the same coaches that are mediocre. I don't see the logic behind it.
-
Should not have extended their contract, fired them both at end of season and you won't need a psychologist....
-
Pagano's endorement on J Raye for GM doesn't hold water, he can't even coach a team, too many bad decisions. Practice on your coaching first Pagano, before anointing others for positions you know nothing of.
-
Now, priority number one is done, now we need someone that can coach..
-
About time! Five years of mediocrity, overdue i would say...
-
Dancing in the streets. Now who's next?
-
I agree with you Introspect, the coaching is awful, decision making, etc....Bellicheck would give these same players a level of higher expectations, a no nonsense approach, and I don't ever see Bellicheck clapping for every bonehead plays they make....Yes bad coaches, translate to bad teams..

D.C. all the way then trade up to get defense. Even if you have to trade next years number one to get an elite defensive player(s) this year. The year is now to win and go to the Big Dance....You listening Grigs/Pags and Irsay?
-
It's unanimous, most of you are saying take Cook and I totally agree. With the offense gaining another year of experience under their belt and hopefully improved from the previous year like they have shown that they are capable of, then it's a no brainer. Take COOK, this will open up the wide receiver's route and Luck and Cook show will take over....Then, focus on the Defense, trade up, think outside to box to make this happen and the 2017 year will be a memorable Super Bowl year.....

Where is the RB in this mock draft you came up with? Also and no Edge until the 4th round, I think this is a bad draft. You need a RB that's a beast, Dalvin Cook fits the bill. I like getting extra picks like a first rounder, well, you can use this pick to get a quality edge rusher like maybe Derek Barnett or Soloman Thomas just to name a few....
-
I'd say get both - Foster and Thomas, but not before Dalvin Cook.
-
You can rest assure, if Cleveland doesn't pick a QB in the first, 49ers will. The 49ers will cut Kapernick, Gabbert is a liability and they desperately need a QB. I think they'll pick one of the two, Kubisky or Watson, so Cleveland need to rethink their stand if they think they're going defense. This opens the door for the Colts to draft the likes of Garret if they decide to move up in the draft....
-
I would focus on drafting Dalvin Cook if you can make it happen. I don't agree that fans sometimes say, RBs are a dime a dozen, Dalvin Cook is the real deal....He will definitely help Luck and the offense, and allow Luck to survive all those contacts. There is nothing wrong with trading up to get a blue chip linebacker if you have to give up a draft or two....Grigson, think about it your career is depending on it.

There was something missing in Irsay's statement, the part where he said, he was steadfast confident that Grigs/Pagano Team is going to bring back the Lombardi Trophy to Indianapolis. When is that Irsay, in the year 2020 or after Luck retires?

I like Dalvin Cook in Round 1. Heck, if Gore gained 1000 yards with his age, just think what Cook can do. Maybe 2000 yds. Besides, when the O-line in 2016 was able to make holes for Gore that enable him to gain over 1000, just think what Cook can do with those young legs....Grigson just do it, make it happen

You mean, Pretenders!
-
Nice insight, now if you could replace the No#1 pick w/ Myles Garret instead of Fournette. Pick Dalvin Cook in Roound 2 replacing one of the LBs. Now it's looking good.

The clapper, flapper, however you want to term it will be clapping again in 2017. Sad!!

I like the first player drafted for the Colts in Dalvin Cook. Modify your other selections, though I like Ruben Foster perhaps won't be available, but we can always move up through trades....Make it happen new GM, this guy's a beast and would really do a 180 on our defense then get some from free agency, Melvin Ingram might be a possibility....
