We could be contenders if we play the Browns ten times. That's a reach because the Browns will surpass the Colts in talent with all their first round draft picks this year. So, contenders I'll give them in the year 2020.

Just curious, why wasn't Phillips brought in after being let go by the Broncos? My guess is, Pagano is loyal to Ted who had one of the worst defense in the league.

Why is Neon Deion picking on the Colts anyway? Hell, we haven't made the playoffs in the last two years? For him to say that has no merit, it's like putting salt on the wound for our lowly Colts....Consider the source...

That's why the Patriots are always up there in the winners circle. They manipulate the system, they are winners. They know how to strategize, and get quality draft picks. Now, if Patriots pull this off with Cleveland getting their #12 for Garopolo, the Patriots again can get an impact player to help them stay on top....That's genius....

There are many defensive players you can pick up in the 2nd or moving up through trades can get you impact edge, ILB and DLs, but passing up on D Cook is unacceptable.

I'd trade this year's 2nd and next year's 1st or 2nd to move up and tab Reuben Foster. This is predicated if we get Dalvin Cook in the 1st round.

Need cap space, bring in young players. Jones injury prone anyway, he's been a non factor since he joined the Colts.

Nice guy, but needs to go young....Maybe the Colts can use him as an assistant LB coach or something.

It's safe to say the Colts won't be in the Super Bowl this season 2017 or any other season as long as Pagano is the Head Coach....

Can't pass on Cook. Trade up to get LBs,Edge and DL if need be....But you need to get Cook.

Does SF still want Shanahan? They might pull the offer off the table after watching the last 8 or so minutes of the game with some bonehead play calling.

He should be crucified if he passes on D. Cook, he's the real deal. Many of you are in an uproar about defense being drafted first and in the high priority list. I understand this year's crop of defensive players are loaded with great defensive players, you're bound to find a couple of impactful players on the defensive side. Also, there's always picking up a few draft picks in the high rounds if you play your cards right....Ballard appears to know what the team needs. He did build a great defense in KC.

Don't wait until they're gone! Be creative, think outside the box and make it happen. That's why the GM's get paid the big bucks.

Dwayne Allen for sure, get a draft pick any round will do and most of the Aging Players.

D. Cook all the way. You still can get edge, ILB if you're a smart GM. Trade up, negotiate draft picks with other teams ahead of you, stockpile draft picks and trade, just to name a few moves you can make...But I would not pass up on D. Cook, mark my words it will be regretful if they do.

If you bring in a new HC, expect the assistants to be let go as well. They are a clone to Pagano and it's going to be a massive overhaul if that happens. The time is to improve now with a new set of values, expectations and vision to see a franchise succeed or endure another year of mediocrity and fall victim to another missed opportunity to go in a positive direction. It would be a total set back once again...To you Colt fans, are you ?l willing to accept this type of situation? Personally, I would cut ties with Pagano and bring in a fresh set of eyes...

I believe Ballard will go offense first with an impact running back like Cook to complement Luck and avoid so many hits. Then, he'll go all out on Defense even if he has to trade multiple picks to get after an edge...One or two edge will make a difference if you play your cards right.....
