They have really stepped up this game and given us a lot to build on. This was rogers coming out party and brazill is having a great game. I'm pleased with whatever the outcome of this game is. Good job guys. Go colts
Yup! It was indeed the silver lining. I'm hoping that it is a sign of things to come, and that these guys can be productive weapons for a long time. It raises the question-- do we still pursue a WR in FA/ draft?

I like the direction they're going in with the villains. I loved the first one more than the originals too so I have a lot of faith in and excitement for this one.
Yep! I love the little easter egg of the Vulture wings, and Ock's arms in the cases at Oscorp. Sinister Six!

Me too!! It's incredible PJ managed to turn one book into a second epic trilogy. Gotta save my money for that and TASM2 ASAP
TASM2 looks amazing

11 in a row....Let's let them in peace
Pretty funny though, in the sense that they didn't really lose anybody. We lose Manning for a year and they accuse us of "tanking". Stay classy (and quiet), Houston fans.

beat you to it

We've been resting for the playoffs since the bye week.

I do like his attitude. I think it will just take some time in the system and a better O-line.
Absolutely right. If anything, he is a living, breathing reminder and incentive for building up our O-line this offseason. Plus, he will have an offseason to learn this offense even more. He didn't get picked 3rd overall for nothing... he will grow into a weapon here.

I'm not saying it's easy. I said it's easier than WR, TE, or QB.
This is true

He's a damn running back, it's the easiest skill position. He takes no blame for his awful play, pathetic.
Not to disrespect you, but you must not have ever played organized football. It isn't simply "cut and run"-- there are schemes and setups for RBs to follow. Each individual lineman has a specific man to pick up in run blocking. 5 linemen up front across from maybe 3, maybe 4 defensive linemen. The o linemen then need to cut upfield and pick up a linebacker, CB, or even a safety that is cheating up. The RB needs to understand every man's blocking assignment on a given run play. A gap, B gap, C gap.... A LOT goes into running the football.
My credentials-- I was a right tackle and a defensive end in high school. It was complex in high school; I can't imagine Alabama or the NFL.

I think some fans are too harsh on a player without maybe considering his situation and supporting cast. For example, Tim Jennings was a weekly whipping boy on here. It wasn't his fault he was asked to play 10 yards off the receivers. So he goes to Chicago and is a pretty good corner. Jerry Hughes was also a guy who had a new "bust" story written about him every week. He didn't fit as a 4-3 lineman nor did he ever get to play much. He showed signs as a 3-4 linebacker. So he goes to Buffalo and is considered a pretty solid pass rushing linebacker. And we got almost nothing in return. I say to those who ripped Donald Brown every year and Trent Richardson this year, do consider their situations before wanting them chased out of town. I believe Brown has always been a pretty good player. In his 5 years we have never had a good run blocking line. So rarely did he have chances. Now Richardson is being hammered, but it seems he almost never has a hole. What I cringe to think about is after this season Donald Brown signing as a free agent with a team that has a decent run blocking line and then he really lights it up. Sure, there are some guys I think are pretty obviously bad. Satele has proven he has been subpar on the three teams he has been on. McGlynn as well.
I agree. IMO the ONLY person who should take heat is DHB. I think that there is no hope for him, unfortunately.

I usually make it to 3-4 games a season and have noticed a huge drop-off in crowd noise the past few seasons. When we are on defense I see way too many people sitting down making NO NOISE! I wonder if it's a lack of motivation because it never really gets very loud at LOS or if LOS has bad acoustics (for crowd noise).
The thing is I don't think it's bad acoustics. Just this past Sunday during Tennessee's last drive it got very loud in LOS; it was almost deafening (close to RCA Dome loud).
I wasn't at the Denver game but those who were could probably add that it was very loud when Peyton was under center.
Is there any way for the Colts to make a concerted effort (besides the "Get Loud" promos) to get the fans into the game on EVERY defensive play? I feel like we are at a disadvantage against other teams by not having that 12th man advantage.
It was CRAZY loud at the Denver game.

Josh McNary for me. On that sack fumble, he laid the WOOD on a Titans lineman. We're taking this guy getting trucked off of his feet completely into the air by a first-time player. It was magnificent.

I think it would be incredible to have him and Mathis sealing the edges. Bjoern has the potential but he will take time to get there; Orakpo could help him get his legs under him. I do agree with you though-- probably very unlikely. I'm still holding out hope that we use our cap on a WR and linemen.

Reggie wasn't grinning ,could read his lips.
"Watch the puck!" is what I THINK he said.... but I could be wrong.
-
you definitely need to do us all a favor and purchase season tickets pdq....lol
As soon as I can afford the extra expense I'm hoping to make the investment!
-
Wow, someone outside of Buffalo actually recognized this guy lol...I think he should be in contention, he's given us a shot in the arm at LB, a position that has been sorely needed with this team for the past several years.
Yeah I love this kid. My dad is a die-hard Bills fan, so I like them as well. In fact, my mom keeps asking me what I want for Christmas and all I keep saying is "a Kiko Alonso t-shirt". The guy is a beast!
-
landry was playing extra cautious in this game and he still gets fined?
Yeah I remember the talking heads even mentioning on a play or two prior to the fined hit that Landry threw his shoulder at the ball to avoid hitting the receiver because of a possible penalty. It really makes it hard for those guys to go out there and execute.
-
If Kiko Alonso doesn't win DROY, it will be a travesty.
-
Is this a mix-up? I don't remember Landry getting a penalty
I remember them calling it on 30, then correcting and saying 20 (Butler).
-
Or dirty dickie and waterGATE.
In college my friends and I won a trivia contest, and our team name was "Tricky Dick and the Watergates"
-
How can you use that username lol? That seems like it would be a constant reminder of losing in the superbowl.
I agree. I would have gone with something like "Harriet the Spygate" myself.
-
I'll be there so... Colts win 27-13.
I'm 2-0 at games as well. I went to the Buffalo game last year and the Denver game this year. Until we lose at a game I attend, I will forever tell myself that I am a sure-fire key to us winning.
It's only crazy if it doesn't work.
-
I still say we ride Trent Richardson, if it doesn't work, then we go to Brown, but stick with Richardson
I agree.
-
I'm looking forward to seeing him on the field. In a way, we are a club of second chances-- look at Darius Butler and what Grigson told him. Basically, put up or shut up-- if DB didn't catch on here, he was presumably out of the league.
Let's go Rogers.
