  1. Dan just needs to get comfortable in a offense, he just needs 1 good game to get the graces of the team and he can progress, he prob be better than curtis to this point if was drafted in his place... 3 years to learn the offense, i think he throws the ball better, but has about the same brain for figureing out where to throw it and not get picked, and carve defenses.

So i dont think dan will throw many ints, he may throw 1 or 2 against this D, but i think he will move the ball well, make good passes along with the running game. but i have no idea whats going to happen when they get in the red zone, i hope they have some plays for that. FGs not going to cut it. At least moving the ball and holding possession if it ends up 50 50, for the first 3 quarters, will be good.

  2. Painter doesnt no how to get rid of the ball when theres pressure, and hes similar to how kerry was in that he sometimes waits for receivers to be open, instead of putting it where the receiver will be and where only he can get it, but i guess thats a pretty high caliber qb, to add to that, he probably doesnt know how to get receivers open at the los before the snap... whether it be a call or change in route or identifying a mis match, so he shouldnt need to look around, or wait for someone to be open if he knows his prime option and his next best open receiver, then throw the thing away or dump it off. it is easyer said than done. maybe he has trouble seeing over the linemen!

  3. 1st quarter points first 11 games = 13

    3rd quarter points first 11 games = 16

3 point improvement in 3rd quarter adjustments first 11 games = 0.27 points improvement per game

    More coffee needed ?????

I can't do more beer, well, maybe....

haha, yeah, i mean they move the ball better, anyone got a stat for 1st downs made 1st half compared to second half? or 1st quarter to 3rd quarter because of 4th quarter cushions

  4. Only one reason why this is all going on... to get a story and get some talk going. only PM and the docs know whats going on, and i dont think the supposed 6 month recovery can be called not effective after 3 months.

Besides, when the fusion takes place, if not already well on its way to completion, it will be stronger than before, the bone is fusing, not as if its going to be weak, he takes a hit and breaks it all. The only other issue is the nerve,

which should come along once the fusion takes place. So if not progressive news this week, then wait a couple more months like the rest of the team. It does take a while for a 'pinched' nerve to come right on its own, so i figure while the

bones fusing, the nerve is slowly coming along, once fusion done, nerve should come right shortly after.

  5. what if there are adjustments being made at half time, i mean we play better in the second half compared to the first half, which we play poorly, its like painter just got out of bed and doesnt wake up fully until after having oranges

  6. yeh im not expecting him back, but would be good to see him and the healing progress become significant, even if its 'the fusion is coming along well, seeing progress' something like that, just to put a good thought into everyones minds for next year, possible boost for the club and players.

  7. depends what you mean by bad football. With PM is in then we may play bad in areas, but come out with wins, and a win is a win. No doubt action needs to be taken, I still cant wrap my head around how a team can lose all the games in a season and not even make changes, not just player changes too. Since players are meant to do what they are taught and told to do. I would have thought making changes during the season would be better, and have them there for the draft and full offseason, as this season really has no meaning other than making the team better for next year.

  8. It's a lot different in the actual game. It's akin to the baseball player that puts on a show in BP but can't hit the broadside of a barn in a real game.

yeh, and by now, surely if he was being coached right, and getting the right preparation for games, should be more productive on offense by now... i mean the first half was shocking, although i didnt get to see much of it, but midway through the second i was watching and started to run the ball well... but throwing was still not that great

  9. does anyone get to go to practices? or see how curtis does during the week, it seems like they always say hes doing so well in practice, then aside from some poor D reads, he still makes bad throws. then doesnt show much emotion, like 'ah well it was worth a shot, but it prob wasnt going to work'

  10. yeh i think he still has to go see the doc and got xrays to view the fusion, of he hasnt already. Nerve is all on him, doctors cant tell you what your feeling, i keep thinking its going to be one of those things that one day its like wow this feels much better and then recovers quickly

  11. Our forum membership continues to grow, thanks to the winless season. People have to come somewhere to vent!

yeh, and so does views of past years footage on youtube with manning playing, it really is amazing, how 1 person, on a team with that many players, can make such a difference.

the sport we have here, rugby, is way different, sure you have playmakers, that sort of run the show, but the guys around can put them in better decisions, although the system of getting players is totaly different and backups are alot better as can select anyone.

  12. We can win in Jacksonville yes even though we lost to them here, division foes split games all the time.

well if we can run the ball like we did for most of today, in the I with the fullback, and then have the play action option, and curtis makes the throws, then yeh we can, easily. defense would only need a average game if we can successfully run the ball and control the game.

But still keeping hope that we beat the pats and they play poor D and our pass rush comes to life, came back a bit today

  13. hes been out a long time, but he needs to get some reps and get back into it, if you think about it, alot of things become understandable when you say the colts dont really care about this season, not losing on purpose, just not going the extra lengths to win. seems like it ever since peyton went on ir, they were like well screw it, lets save money, if we get injuries, let them heal, although addai coming back to soon was a bit stupid.

why dont they just run the ball every down, then they can really practice running the ball, cant do any harm!

  14. yeh for qb to wr its more the relationship, knowing what they are going to do. The qb making the right call to exploit something, then each doing their part, qb great throw to a how the heck did he get open wr

similar with running back, see the D, call a play, but olines gotta dominate and keep the gaps. then its up to the rb.
