  1. i think any of the games are winnable, Jax being the favourite, but if they play like they did today, and get better, teams like the ravens could end up a shootout, if the defence has an off day, like they do. Titans and Texans could end up revenge matches, they to could have poor games. We just need to find that way to win at the end.

  2. Wow that's awesome!! Where are you from if you don't mind me asking?

yeh, im from New Zealand, not sure how much you guys would have seen of this place? But were behind in everything, always have been. We dont get many feeds of NFL, Australia gets more than we do, they have Fox sports, plus they have a few players - Punters - in the league. So we only get the primetime Sunday and Monday night football games on espn (espn here even though not on espn over there), but do get Nascar, Indy, F1 etc on regular Sky sports channels.

I still want more games! I do still watch every Colts game though, if i cant watch it i listen to 1070thefan online streaming and NFL.com updates. Love Bob Lameys voice, heaps of passion when he commentates.

So yeah someone talk to Commissioner Goodell and get him to get into talks with someone! even if it is just me watching haha!

  3. the highlights of the game on nfl.com, manning is basically saying 'whaaaaaaaat are you doing', pointing on the field and gives him a look that says it all. I would have grabbed the headset off him and said 'Clyde, go get a gatorade and hit the bench'.

  4. Some may say don't give it to Carter in that situation because he's put the ball on the ground this year. However, those runs are the reason you brought the guy in and I'd rather instill confidence in a rookie to get my 0-11 team a score instead of play calling-scared & to not make mistakes vs. winning. Carter has run for those tough yards this year and I like the chances with him in that situation. Same premise as not going back to a receiver because of a dropped TD pass or ran a bad route resulting in a turnover.

yeh, gave garcon chances after dropped catches, and he made great catches today. Carter only got 3 carries, which is pretty stink, he should have the offseason to work on that.

  5. Zone defense it to attempt to cover up our deficiencies. If this team played man to man against New England they would have given up 70 points. Our zone is to keep the ball in front of us and not give up big plays and hope their offense screws up enough to get our defense off the field. Look what happened to Jason David, decent player for us, he goes to New Orleans and they want him to play a little man to man he he is out of a job because he got toasted.

yeh, why do they play zone to begin with, why isnt it man coverage all the time, with any team. the fact that a player cant cover another player seems like that player is under performing. besides theres more free players than receivers.

puzzles me when you see a receiver wide open behind everyone, makes you wonder what they are thinking, see them running with the player then drop off while watching the qb, thats just getting sucked in.

  6. I don't get that. Clearly the secondary is struggling and banged up and has been all year. And yet, people keep calling for us to blitz. What do you think Brady would have done to us if we had?

well he shouldnt have seen it coming... and if we are going to blitz then there should be cover, guess these guys need time to learn that stuff though huh

  7. is zone just for trying to get interceptions? seems like our guys are never close to being in the right place. why dont they just play man, dont need to press since they are small, just 5 yards and be there when the ball comes in to make a play. surely it cant be that hard to teach and practice. obviously these guys arent getting zone correct

  8. made some nice throws, good to see peyton helping out alot, play before the second garcon td, peyton said something to him, guess it worked. And he showed emotion, when he threw the pick he was ticked, and came back from it which is good. Start him, he did better than painter. Gotta watch it against the ravens though...

  9. yeh that was gold. manning knows what hes doing, i wouldnt even take plays from him, just get a few from peyton on the sideline before you go out, with audibles etc. carter cant sit on the sideline and get better, needs to play a learn to hold onto the ball. it happens to the best of them!

  10. yeh i saw peyton giving clyde a weird look when he was calling plays, like 'what are you doing'. these coaches are blind, the cushion is not the players fault, as they get told what to do, so the coaches back off the players, let them pass for a first down on first down. i dont remember it being that easy for peyton...

  11. what about that one, that was the easiest you will get in this league. doesnt look like murphys done anything, that was almost as quick as the 'big play' they are trying to prevent. at least they should be jamming and man covering and if they get beaten, then they get beaten, but giving them easy 7 yard catches, time and time again is just handing them the game... and wheres the blitzing!
