I do give Trent a lot of credit b/c I remember before the season started when we knew Peyton was out at least 8 weeks Trent said we would not win any games and our entire roster was second rate and masked by the skills of Peyton.

lighten up Francis...its a term coined by Ocho and the "child" was Phil B

Child please, that interview on Tuesday w/ ESPN was contracted a long time ago, and if you actually listen to the interview all Manning wanted to talk about was the CITY. I think Kravitz is rubbing off on these other Star guys and once again they are upset that they are the locals, but the nationals get all the 1st news.
I see more and more why Polian did not like to talk to them. All they paint is a negative picture.
-
I thought the Colts had an interest in Perry Fewell?
-
Kravitz has not lost his mind...its just one tracked. Seriously pull his last 10 articles...how many of them were ALL about cutting Peyton? 9? I did not actually count them, just seems like the only thing he ever has to say.
-
Why do we assume the NFL and the NFLPlayers Union will fight this contract? Who wants to fight this? Who wants THAT press?
-
All I have to say is all this anger, hostility and talking about the release of Peyton BEFORE it happens...if it actually does happen, oh boy, Irsay may need to go into witness relocation.
-
It just cant end like this, please, please, dont let it end like this. There is no closure.
-
I still feel numb, I dont know how to feel about our future yet.
-
If he lets him go...you better pray he cant throw the ball a lick. Because if he can, you just made the biggest mistake of your life!

I liked the way Chuck talked about leadership, how he talked about Ray Lewis and how is talked about Peyton. I loved the talk about surrouding yourself with these types of men.

Or lets not forget a year after the Colts win the SB Kravitz calls Dungy a "hypocrite" for wanting to return for the 2008 season:

Lets revist some history...Kravitz starts working for the Rocky Mountain News after various other gigs including getting canned from ESPN and started covering the Denver Broncos in Jan 1996. That year was the first year of HC Shanahan, they went 13-3 that year with Elway with the #1 seed in the AFC and thought it was Elway's best chance to finnally win a ring. They lost to the Jags in the division round and were one and done. Kravitz wrote this article the next day:

Two years laters Elway wins back to back rings and a year after that Kravitz pens this article:

I think its time for the Star to clean some house too.

My take on this...Peyton needs more time, he is not healed, but believes he can be with more time. Thus the reason for Peyton's comments about "I dont want get into some type fan campaign with the owner, but" which is where the "politician" rebuttle came from.
Peyton needs more time and is Irsay willing to take that bet?
-
Wasn't our problem this year was not having a good back-up QB? I just dont get all this debate. Why is this not simply getting a good back-up QB?
-
I liked the fact that Irsay after the NFC game called PM and "offered any kind of help". Does not sound like someone who wants to "break up".
-
I dont watch Ohio State...is Tressel any good in front of the camera? Press conference, locker room, etc?
-
I say bring in him as the Special Teams coach. I want experience at all levels and we have never seemed to put any effort into this team before. ST players would respect a former HC.
-
I said this before, but this is my take on this...its like selling your house because you want to get a better one. Once you sell it, you have to move. The only problem is what you can get (good coaches) is subject to what is on the market at that time. What if you sell at the wrong time?
If there is a "vision" that I keep hearing about then what in the blank is it? I agree with unitaswestand...this is your vision? These guys? Child please.
-
Dude, Irsay holds all the cards, PM cant "break up" with him.
-
We got punched in the gut when Manning was under the knife on opening day. Even players refered to as the "wind was gone from our sails". Or Dungy saying he's not there "unless he is dead". Its like a kidney punch in the first round that made you feel fear the rest of the fight.
-
My fear is that #1 pick does get power brokered every so many years and it ends up holding someone up for ransom. Who is more likely to encourage that? An NFL expert or a newbe? I put the bet on a newbe.
-
I dont buy to the idea that we lack talent, we lacked confidence. The Defense had no confidence in the O, and the O, that was painful to watch. I believe much more goes into winning TEAMS than just talent. Its about will, struggle, fight, and getting back off the mat. Its about players coming together.
-
JoKeR, interesting take, I like it: create the vision then fill the holes.
My issue with that is to me its kind like selling your house because you want to get a better one. Once you sell your house, you have to move, but you can only can pick what is on the market at the time. What if you picked the wrong time to sell?

I thought you would get a movie phrase from Stripes, just a classic...it was "psycho" going crazy over nothing.
Here you go:
Tuba, I got no beef.
