Now imagine how many sacks he would've had if we had the lead late in games when teams where forced to pass. I bet if someone looked it up Mathis/Freeney had majority of there sacks in 4th qtr.

Why all the Morrison bashing, he has 310 tackles this year.
150 on opponents, 160 on his teammates!

I like Barkley, but i think solidifying the line is more important. Maybe if he falls and we trade back into the first.
Demarius Thomas contract is up he possibly has 3-4 good years left.
The more we can pick up in FA, the more I like picking up Barkley.

For WR how about Jaleel Scott SMU or St. Brown ND, both have size and above average route running. Maybe 2nd day pick.

Time for your opnion on how to fix the our Colts!
This year I beleive our focus should be on offense.
OL- draft a tackle, maybe move Kelley to OG, and put Boyd starting C. Let Vuj, Clark go, keep Haeg, and Good.
WR - sign a #1 through FA, maybe Dez, keep Rogers, let Moncrief go.
RB- resign Gore, draft 1 late, and give Mack more carries.
TE- I have no idea, draft or FA
Defense-
Draft db, resign Butler, keep Bostic, let Morrison go, try to draft 1 of the first ilb off the board. Continue upgrading pass rush.

So far this year I've notice the following about our defense:
Need better ILB's
Better pass rush either by scheme or individual effort.
Excited about our secondary future, almost forgot Hairston was a rookie.
Offense:
I've said in a previous post that we need to retain Philbin somehow, our line is not a bottom 10 line.
Chud's offensive style needs to go.
Wish we traded Moncrief, but he's gone.
Need to draft a big WR, if anything just to compete with TY to remind him he needs to work.
Would like to resign Frank, his stats might not show it but he looks better this year than previous 2.
Hine sight being 20/20, should've kept Fleener, he had soft hands and was a good #2 TE.
Just my 2 cents.

Which retread coach?? I said Philbin to keep some experience on the staff.

I like Coach Pagano, but reality is he's most likely out. So time to think about a new coach and what this team needs. I think we need an innovative young offensive minded coach. We need to show some of these NFL defenses something they haven't seen. I would like to keep Coach Philbin as OC/OL coach. Experience playcaller, but calling someone else's play style. Would like to keep a 3/4 defense. Or back to Indy2 D(cheaper defense).
Just my 2 cents.

Some of you are truly unamazing. You demand loyalty out of the players we cheer on sundays. I would of preferably kept the greats until they were ready to go. Marvin Harrison released. Reggie Wayne released. Dwight Freeney released. Rob Morris, Jeff Herrod, Marlin Jackson, all released. Now we want Vontae gone on a bad game when everyone he was playing against had 6 games to practice. Shame on us for demanding perfection. He deserves to have a bad game or 2, and if we are true fans we should help lift him up instead of demanding his release. Shame on us.

Would lile to see Spence and George start together. Alot of speed there.

With Vontae back and Melvin moving to #2 and the rookies good play. I beleive we might've gained another half second for our pass rush to get after RW. Would like to see a 4 sac game at least. Expect Shaard to get his first.

Johnny Football makes sense as back up. He's everything Tolz isn't. Athletic and determined. But he has to learn and than maybe we get trade bait.

Grigson and Pagano didn't along most likely over personel decisions. If Ballard and Pagano can agree on personel and Pagano gets what he wants, problem solved if we win. Pagano is in for 2017. Let's do Pagano fired posts next year if we don't see alot of improvement.

Pass rush, pass rush it'll make everyone better in defense. Late round rb to compete with JF. All other picks best available on defense.
I would trade only this years picks to move up and get higher in 1st. I doubt we will be picking this high again for awhile.
FA guard from Cinci let Bray go and keep Todman and Rogers.
Sign Adams and Walden 1 more year.

We don't beed quantity of picks. Need quality. More times than not your best pass rusher is gone in top 5 picks. I would sacrifice 4 of our picks to get into the top 5. All picks from this year. We should have alot.

If there is a sure fire can't miss pass rusher. Go up and get him but don't lose our 2nd. We have depth at all spots we need starters. Make sure the pass rusher is not a 1 trick pony(Maggitt Bull Rush). Cut down the time there qb has improves defense tremendously.
OL- Zeitler would be nice.
CB- maybe use our 2nd and some others to jump back into 1st round and grab 1 there.
RB- Top 3 set and serviceable, maybe late round pick to compete with JF.
We don't need depth we got it. Need starters so quantity picks not needed, quality.
Remember we prolly getting high compensatory picks for Freeman and Fleener.

If we could get 1 FA this year I would like Keven Zeitler. Spend draft on defense and RB. Let Good back up 3 spots and Haeg and Clark fight for RT.

Going through positions groups I'll pick some players out.
Defense:
D-line
Langford good, but not as good as last year - keep him
Kerr good, best year so far, sign to extension right away
Ridgeway decent, started off improving every week but seemed to hit a bump last 3 weeks, still wait and see
Jones still waiting, ask me in 2 games
McGill great and bad, 100% sure if it's a pass I want him in there, wait till end of year to see if he does better with his assignment
Anderson wait and see, still watching his rookie highlights
Perry ???????
Linebackers
Mathis not sure if it's age or injury, never schemed for him before to get qb, sign him 1 more year at discount
Walden not sure if he's doing better or Mathis making him look better, future contract wait and see
Maggitt 1 trick pony so far, need something else besides bull rush this isn't college, see who we get next year.
Ayers improving every game, so get his asking price at end of year
Jackson looks better with Freeman not beside, pretty sure it's cause Freeman is that good.
Morrison same as Ridgeway, needs more reps to figure this one out.
Edwin optimistic still want to see more reps.
McNary gone, I had more hope during his rookie year than I do now
I'll do other position groups at another time, dinner ready.

Might just be switching Good and Reitz around, but I like Haeg at RT and Good at RG.

Still would like to see Haeg starting RT even with Reitz coming back. Reitz coming off the bench is better. I think he has more experience at multiple positions.

Would you take a beefed up AJ, maybe 245lbs. as a TE. Was a good blocking WR, and has good hands. Could extend his career at least 3 years.

I would've love to see him as our OC, and brought in new OL coach. Look at his stats as GB OC before he went to Miami, quick release West Coast. That's upgrade there from Chuds 1970s style.
