If you are ok with slauson,Boyd, and haeg as starters then you must not care about Andrew luck much. At this point we need to draft Nelson. I’m sorry but lucks health matters most this season. Castonzo is getting worse every season, Kelly has health issues. #teamNelson

I've said many times, I'm talking right now this moment. I would like an OT and OG in the first 2 rounds. I'm saying we are better at this moment for the pieces other than just the OL has made it better.

  2. I'm saying at this moment right now. I would love to get Nelson, Price and ONeil. Only reason I moved Kelley to guard is I think he would be better than Boyd. If Jack is healthy than yea, put him back at LG, Kelley C and Slauson RG. Still like Good alot at G. Remember 2nd or 3rd game 2 years ago against Eagles, they pulled a stunt and he put his hand in the chest of 2 defenders and they didn't move.

  3. Only didn't include Jack at this time cause he maybe still recovering. Only reason i moved Kelley over was i thought he could make the adjustment better than Boyd. Yes we need help in the draft. OG and OT. My point of this is we are better right now than at end of season.

  4. Our line is already better without draft. Still need to draft OL. Here's my reasoning.

    1)Everyone is healthy

    2)new quick passing scheme

3)new strength guy - will help with injuries and Haeg. I like Haeg, great footwork and knowledge, but i think when he got beat, it was because he got overpowered.

    4) Remember we fell in love with Dayshawn Boyd.

So right now i could see OL starting line up of:

    LT AC

    LG Kelley

    C Boyd

    RG Slauson

    RT Haeg

You have Slauson's veteran leadership helping Haeg. AC helping Kelleys new spot, and 2 former C's helping Boyd. I call that a win, win, win.

To be fair, our OL DID give a lot of time to throw. They gave Brissett an average of 2.89 seconds (good for 5th in the league and 0.2 seconds longer than Brady got last yr). The problem has always been that our offense was based on long developing routes and little to no extra protection. It doesnt matter if you block for 3 seconds if the routes arent open for 4. I think the scheme change alone should do wonders for our OL (though I am not against adding more talent to increase our chances of success).

Finally, someone that has seen the light. The OL does need to make bigger wholes in the run game. Also not sure if it was long routes or the receivers not named Hilton weren't getting open.

    Why?

    Cleveland @ 1 aren’t taking him.

    Giants @ 2 aren’t taking him.

    Jets @ 3 are going QB 100%

    Cleveland @ 4 aren’t taking him

    Denver @ 5 aren’t taking him.

It’s very likely that we see 3 straight QB’s taken 1,2,3 in the draft. And, if that’s the case, teams are going to go hard after Cleveland’s # 4 to get a QB too. Believe me.

And if Cleveland doesn’t move #4 they’ll be taking Barkley , which would leave one of the remaining QB’s to Denver. And they would likely take one , or take Minkah or Nelson long before they take Chubb.

There’s a high chance we dropped 3 places and still have the exact same players available that we wanted at 3. In fact, I’ll go on record now : Nelson and Chubb will both be available at 6.

Alot of mocks have Browns taking Fitz at 4. Barkley and Chubb could be there.

I love Nelson as a prospect but like you said interior depth is good in this years draft.  Would rather go Wynn, Hernandez or Price early in the 2nd.

Sames goes with all the guys beating the Ward drum.  CB depth in this draft is great but i think the top end is lacking.  Could get a guy like Jackson, Hughes, Oliver, Alexander or Davis early and the 2nd.  Heck if we don't mind rolling the dice we could get Holton Hill with our 4th.

The drop at DE is what worries me.  Chubb is in a class of his own and I don't think that is a position that we could address in rounds 2 and 3 and still get a great player.

Agree, interior lineman go as far as round 3, along with ilb and rbs to round 4. WR fall off after 1st 3, and so do OTs. Cbs maybe top three, slight fall off and than you go good ones till round 3. Edge rushers you have 4 good ones but after that there all similar back to round 6.

sorry but I don't understand what your talking about. it usually works the other way around. a good pass rush improves the db's.

if your trying to say that these players are all probowl you have no case for that. both Geathers and Hooker were injured so don't know for certain how they will jell together. Wilson didn't hardly play and Fitz is an unknown at the next level (think Trent)

Works both ways, the longer the dbs can cover better chance for the dl ti get to the qb. Quicker dl can get to qb, shorter time dbs have to cover.

  9. Out of the group mentioned here, I think Cody has the best hands and a better chance to be WR2. I like Rogers as our 3, and don't want to take that from him. Butler, and Grant I beleive would be red zone specialist, or WR4. Don't want Pryor, unless great contract. He drops easy passes. I have no opnion on Mathews but him like Pryor drops easy passes.
