You do know ONE game at 40

doesnt change what you did in 19 years right?

What narrative? Most up here saying the D and Edelman won the game.  Brady was wel Brady made key plays when needed to win.. that’s what the true greats do.. make plays when needed for their team to win.

The GOAT narrative is what I am referring to.

Well, he didn't need many plays to win. It's easy to win when the opposing team scores 3 points.

Tom Brady is one of the greatest to ever play, he just isn't the clear GOAT that everyone seems to label him as, which is largely because of his now 6 super bowl rings; QB wins is a stupid stat.

The run game did it and maybe you missed the amazing passes to get the Pats the go ahead TD?  People forget the Rams have a ton of D talent.. was a great D battle with both QBs under a lot of pressure all game.

A couple of good passes doesn't make you the GOAT; Luck made an amazing pass against KC, but he played bad.

Brady didn't play well. The Patriots are the best ran organization, and Belichick is the GOAT.

After any Colts Pat's game, I never remember thinking "Wow, Tom Brady is just otherwordly." In a few, I actually remember him keeping the Colts in the game.

This narrative makes it seem like Brady carries his teams-- he doesn't-- like he is an otherwordly talent; he is not.

Just because Goff was worse than Brady, doesn't mean Brady was good.

Really it isn't Tom's fault these other QB's suck butt in the clutch = Wilson getting picked at the 1 yard line with a sure win, Ryan just not handing off and the ATL kicking a FG to go up 11, or Goff's craptastic performance tonight lmao. Hey if teams can't beat them, not his fault. The Manning's could beat him, Peyton 3-1 in AFC Title Games, Eli 2-0 in SB's, everyone else MEH.

    These are coaching gaffs.

It's very strange.  New England won three Super Bowls last decade and thee this decade, yet neither team is looked at as a dominant team... like the Steel Curtain, 49ers or 90's Cowboys.  It's more about Brady, Belichick and the system.  The times they were dominant - 2007, 2010(I think) - they didn't win anything.

    It's more just about Belichick

Did you also see Luck during the last moment of the 40yd splash competition? He couldn't hit the target, and both teams were taking so long that he even got an extra attempt. The announcer was surprised Luck couldn't hit it.

By comparison, watch Drew Brees accuracy on Sports Science:

I'll give Luck the benefit of the doubt on the first throw, as his hands were probably wet from handling the water, but yikes.

I'm beginning to think Luck needs to just go to a precision football camp; maybe he's been concentrating too much on bulking/ recovery and it's sidetracked him from his QB fundamentals.

I kind of find his bad performance in all facets of the probowl concerning.

His passes didn't look great in the cold two weeks ago or the rain yesterday (after a year of wondering if he'd play again I still pay attention to that).  Everyone will make of it what they want and it certainly isn't worth freaking out about especially right now, but I see some room for improvement as a consistent passer. When he's moving, his passes look much stronger for one.

My thoughts, too. His throws seemed kind of weak, but I'm no expert. Little surprised more people are not talking about it. All I hear is people complaining about the pro bowl.

Why what did he do throw an INT? I am not even watching just asking. If so we should definitely trade him for a couple of Draft picks that damn noodle arm :sarcasm:. Pro Bowl game = meaningless. I did not know it was even on :funny:. I thought it was tonight haha

He's is driving for a score on the second drive, but on the first drive there were two incompletions, and then a pic.

I like the Pro Bowl. (Shrugs)

Twitter had a field day with it too.

I think Andrew goes to the pro bowl to do what you are supposed to......have fun and not take it seriously.

People on twitter took it way too seriously......

Not going to lie, I expected him to do a little better. But, yeah, I really have no clue how seriously they are competing, or how much merit the competition has. All that matters is season performance.

Completely agree about offensive ineptitude. I'm baffled by it. To me, it just seemed like Luck didn't have any time to throw whatsoever, the KC pass rush was that unstoppable. I just don't know if another WR would've made a difference if Luck didn't have to throw to him.

I have heard a lot of people say that no one was open, which heavily contributed to the pressure.

What also baffles me is how we only score 6 points on offense, yet New England scores 37? Is their offense that much better? If so, why, exactly?
