Preach it brother!!!!! I been watching every colts game religiously for years. Same problems year in and year out. Chuck ain't fixing any problems. This is the first year i just snapped. I can't spew the same pro colts line like I did the last 3 years. The colts aren't getting better as a team. They are holding Luck back and his prime is being wasted. And its sad.

    Agreed!

Luck never had the chance.  He had another year on his deal and then the Colts would have tagged him for three years after that.  Luck leaving was never going to happen.

Also this "sub par" team has been to the playoffs three of those past four years and won three playoff games and got to a AFCCG. Then last year without their starting QB for over half the season and their backup QB not being anywhere close to 100% they still found a way to win 8 games.  They are doing something right.  Also just for a point of reference it took Peyton Manning two coaches and six years to be able to do what Luck did in three in terms of the playoffs.

Yes they are still building a championship team but championship teams are not built or rebuilt in one off-season.

I understand the division titles and AFC championship appearance that everyone likes to keep bringing up. But despite all of that, I still say this team as been sub par to average. Because, IMO to be a great team, you have to do it with consistency. The Colts haven't. In fact I say this team has been consistently average and in some cases, flat out bad, more then they have been great.  Think of all the blow out loses this team as been on the receiving end of over the last 4 years under Pags. Especially to the Patriots. Think of all the games where the colts have came out and have looked unprepared and Pags was out coached. Think of all the games where they got handled by more physical teams. That's just me though. And as far as Luck's achievements go, I know what he can do when heathly. I said the Colts as a TEAM has be average....not Luck individual. I know a championship team isn't built in one off season , but it's been almost 5 now. And where still dealing with the sane problems. This "monster" we were supposedly to be building has ceased to exist. Not even close. As a fan, I'm going to continue to wait and be patient. But I don't think this team will win a super bowl under Chuck.

  3. Luck honestly should have gotten out while he had the chance. I don't see this team winning a super bowl NO time soon. At least not with Chuck as head coach. He just doesn't do it for me. This team is NEVER prepared to play. I can't remember the last time I've been soooooo unintersted about an upcoming f.ball season as I was/am with this one. From the time the regular season ended to the time preseason started, I've literally have had little to no interest. And ppl can try to say it's only preseason, calm down, relax. But let's face the Colts are not a very good football team. With the exception of Luck and a few others, this team over the last 4 years has been sub par to average at best. The same problems every single year, can't run the ball. Can't stop a nosebleed on D, and playing soft on the offensive end. This comment may not sit well with others but oh well.

Here is where I saw it.

    That is from June 14.

I live in Kansas City and so I hear more news about the Chiefs than I do about the Colts and I haven't heard any talk recently about him missing the season.

I'm sorry, my previous remark may have come across as accusatory, I didn't mean it that way, I was generally interested in knowing where you heard that, because as I mentioned I live in the area and it was news to me.

I read it on twitter, so It could have been false info. And it's all good man, I didn't even take it any kind of way.

Where did you hear he could miss this upcoming season.  As of June 14th the report was he had his knee scoped and will be ready for day one of training camp.

Smith will be a loss but they are going to take the Denver approach to D now... if you don't give the QB time to throw and your CB#1 is excellent then you can cover up for CB 2.

Must be new reports. Earlier in the year it was reported that he COULD miss the season.

You're sleeping on the Chiefs, they are going to be a good team this year and will likely win the West. The Raiders are like the Jags, but actually a few years further on I think, they are no pushover this year.

The chiefs are my second favorite team, however, I don't think they're going to much this year. They for whatever reason let Sean Smith walk in free agency which is gonna be a HUGE blow to their secondary. And if I'm not mistaken Tamba Hali could miss the upcoming season due to his ACL.
