I wouldn't do that either
Only reason I say that is because I think this is Dorsett's last year as a Colt as soon as Kamar Aiken pushes him down even further on the depth chart.
-
I think the Colts will trade back if the opportunity presents itself. Then draft someone like Charles Harris, Jarrad Davis, Kevin King, or even Obi Melifonwu. Depending on how far they move back. I would be okay with it obvious if we can pick up more early picks.
-
Definitely not unless you are talking about #15 Phillip Dorsett. Then it might be a pretty fair trade maybe.
-
No doubt about it you take him in the third. I was reading somewhere Jimmy Lake mentioned out of all the great CB's that Jones was the most talented he has coached at Washington.
We all know how the Peters pick worked out for Ballard and KC.
-
As long as it's not a offensive skill position like RB, WR, or QB obviously. I just for certain want a day one starter at cb in the first or second rd.
-
-
Let's not fool ourselves this division is getting much better but it still is bad. Until the division can put a wild card team in the playoffs along with the divison winner.
-
Melvin is nothing more than depth at cb. We can get a better option as a starter with one of our 4th rd picks if not earlier.
-
NONE!
Lets just spend the money on Hightower and draft Sidney Jones.
-
Solomon Thomas
-
I hope we traded Allen for a punter

Getting off track here. I didn't realize AJ Bouye was from my high school! Now I really wouldn't mind us picking him up. Comes from good stock. . Tucker High School is a strong football program in Georgia.
With the talent in this class at cb. i sure hope the Colts don't sign Bouye he's not worth the money.
-
I really like him and Adoree Jackson. Both had a great combine today.
-
The first two picks look good. After that not so much IMO.
-
Garrett and Thomas both will be studs. But unfortunately i don't see many true pass rushers that "wow" you after that!
-
Not sure if i heard this right? But i thought i saw were McCaffrey only benched 225 for 10 reps. If true that's horrible. I benched 225x10 way back when i was a senior in high school at 180lbs. LOL
Thats not taking anything away from the kids talent. But he may not be durable enough to withstand the punishment in the NFL. He may be lining up in the slot more than rb.

Hightower ILB NE
Warford OG Det
Then my draft dream for the first two rounds would be:
1st round Solomon Thomas OLB Stan
2nd round Adoree Jackson CB USC

He isn't a special player. He can go get paid elsewhere. He is easily replaced. If Allen can stay healthy, He is a far superior player
We can all say that Allen's skill set could be better or ceiling is higher etc. But truth is I wouldn't trade Jack Doyle for five Dwayne Allen's. Doyle is a better blocking TE. And Doyle's hands are way better. Allen may be the better athlete if that's what you mean by superior. But Doyle has been the better player. And more importantly Doyle is not near as injured prone as Allen.
-
My two dream picks are:
#1 Solomon Thomas
#2 Sidney Jones
-
This is one of the worst mocks I have seen lately IMO. Beckwith may be the best value pick in the 4th.
-
I would say adding a cb to play opposite of Vontae should be #5.... Robinson needs to be in the slot and keep Butler at safety.
-
I would much rather have Solomon Thomas over Barnett.
-
Cunningham won't be there when we pick in the second.
-
Draft Sidney Jones to play outside opposite of Vontae, move Robinson in the slot, let Adams go, start Geathers and Butler at safety. BAM! lol
Should have taken Dalvin Cook at #15
